  1. Any updates?
  2. A few years ago at the Carlisle Chrysler Show they had a Butch Leal Dart there but it was a candy red and silver down the side. Looked great but not sure if it was original or not. At the same time they had the 65 stock wheelbase car as well which was the more familiar orange and white. Here's a link off the butchleal.com http://www.butchleal.com/DartPrint.html

    Santa's Ride

Love it. That is just too cool. Nice Santa helpers too.
  4. I have deleted my previous post surrounding this car. It was posted in poor jugement and my apologies go out to Rod, his wife and his upholsterer. The way the post was typed was irresponsible on my part and I am truly sorry. I know for a fact that Rod's upholsterer does excellent work and I have seen said car in person and it is truly amazing in the way it is built. I know that alot of people have complained in the way Rod builds his cars and they say he destorys Corvettes but I don't see it. I have seen mutliple builds of his at car shows around the area and they have all been truly astonishing to see, not to everybodies taste but when you really look into the way they are built it's amazing. I am sure that everybody has worked hard over the years to be able to create and afford to built these amazing machines. Again my apologies go out to everyone involved.
  5. I am currentliy gathering suppplies and reference to build the 1955 Chevy that was prepared by Smokey and driven by Herb Thomas. It appears as if the Chevy was the 150 model. I have the AMT 55 Bel Air sedan and have taken the Bel Air trim off the body and trying to get it ready to prime. I have also purchased the decals off Ebay. I have seen that it was actual Skyline Blue with a white roof and not the Seafoam Green or whatever GM painted there replica. I need some help on the interior though. I am in search of some interior shots of a 55 150 to see how they differ from the Bel Air model. Any reference pictures would be helpful for that fact interior or exterior but mainly interior right now.

  9. I had heard from a vendor at Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle Show, back in July, that Moebius was going to be doing a 61 Pontiac Ventura and a 65 Mercury Comet but, have not seen anything on that yet.
  10. DIdn't get to go. Did anybody get there to take pics?
  11. As far as Chip goes how much pull does the Earnhardt side have? Earnhardt was a big component for Chevy.
  12. You know something that we haven't heard Dave? I am a hugh Dodge fan. Of the 5 vehicles I have owned 3 of them have been Dodges. Would love to be able to continue pulled for my manufacturer. On a side note I am very pleased to see that Allen Johnson won the NHRA Pro Stock Championship this year driving a Dodge Avenger. As well as Jack Beckman winning the NHRA Funny Car Championship behind the wheel on a Dodge Charger.

  20. Your builds are looking great. I really need to get a couple of these but trying to support my so-called local hobby shops but they still have not gotten them in stock yet. Gonna check again today.
  21. Here is the Amt 57 Street Machine kit that I built maybe 10 years ago now. HOK Candy red 2-tone tan interior. MCW Keystone Klassic wheels. Sorry the pictures arent the best. They were taken with my phone.
