  1. I keep coming back to these two models . . . they are a wonderful reminder of how much fun you can have by just simply opening the box and working with what comes in 'em. Great job. The yellow one is still my fave.
  2. A new one opened in my town and I have to say I am not that impressed, although they do carry a lot of models, but I was expecting them to have a better selection of art supplies, etc . . . they devote a lot of floor space to decoration junk, vases and trinkets for people to turn their places into Feng Shuei Palaces. Just my opinion . . .
  3. Remember too that there are many possibilities with Warhammer 40K, Forge World, and also lots of 1/35th scale stuff you can modify and bring up to scale. It's all fun, have some!
  4. Keep coming back to this one, it's a wonderful idea and great design, Harry.
  5. I think your work is wonderful. Love the Chevy in the first round of pics you posted. Beautiful. Keep 'em coming!
  6. Wow, those are great reference shots. To recreate such damage you'd have to form (and deform) the panels made out of aluminum foil or very thin metal . . . that would be very cool to replicate. LONG LIVE RUST.
  7. LOL, you guys are too funny!
  8. Looking good, good detailing so far . . . keep it going.
  9. Clean, well built model, keep up the good work.
  10. FABULOUS details on this build. You know what Doctor Cranky is going to say, right? LONG LIVE RUST!
  11. Love the color, some great details. . . . I hope the quality of the pictures improve so we can enjoy more of your amazing detailing and hard work.
  12. WOW, what a wonderful idea. It's going to be a big deal, this model. Keep it going. More eye candy, please.
  13. Good progress, keep it going. It's a wonderful kit too, should build up real nice.
  14. Wow, what a great build. Another masterpiece added to the collection. Wonderful, John, and thanks for sharing the amazing eye candy.
  15. Nice model. You are having fun, that's for sure. Keep up the good work.
  16. Beautiful model. The details make it really stand out, and rather memorable. Excellent work. Congrats, and thanks for sharing the eye candy.
  17. Michael and Tim, thanks for the support . . . I hope you guys get a chance to build this kit. It's simple, but it really is beautiful . . . big cars like this one make a great canvas for paint.
  18. Yes, a very simple kit but I find that these early AMT/ERTL kits with the molded in chassis have always driven me crazy. I always end up building the cars box stock, curbside more likely. Thanks for the kind words.
  19. Thanks, David . . . I am almost done with it. Stay tuned in for a round of glam pics.
  20. Well, you lost some stuff, but the best part is that you are back home now and can do something about it. All of this will be a distant memory in no time, Bill. Wishing you and yours well. Best, DC
  21. I think he must have gone and had one of those 27 ounce primer ribs at McCormics? Am I spelling that right, Harry. I ate there once and I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
  22. That's a very clean, well-built ride . . . nice subject matter and a perfect addition to any collection.
  23. Nice, very nice. Please keep it going.
