  1. Position within class..
  2. I want to build a phantom R/T using the LRE w/ the '71-73 grille, steelies and dog dishes, resin scooped hood, and a Hemi..
  3. That is it, repro of the MPC part. I have that part..
  4. Watched until about midnight on the streaming, was back up at 6:30 watching again..good to see one of the Ford GTs is still out there..
  5. Looking forward to this one..would like to see more of the old Heller race car kits reissued, I don''t have any of the originals (except for an AMT rebox of a Porsche and Ferrari), have noticed them mostly for the great box art.
  6. I suspect this Pro Stock version will sell better than a stock '71-73 would...
  7. I suppose so...though at shows like this, isn't the emphasis on new releases?
  8. Some people really like melodrama, I suppose. It looks like a nice kit with lots of kitbash potential w/ the Lindberg '64 Dodges...
  9. Not negative, just cynical... glad to see this one reissued...
  10. Ah..odd they would be showing at a show in 2016 then..
  11. It is surprising to see such an honest response to a customer...you wouldn't think they wouldn't admit to a delay. I am interested in one or two of these eventually when they are released...
  12. The street machine version was reissued in '14 with a red car on the box,...so this a reissue of the stock version..decent kit, more accurate body than the Revell '67.
  13. Also, keep in mind the P1 is old news now...it's production run is over, and McLaren is likely working on a successor...
  14. Sharp build..love that movie.
  15. I have the MPC stocker, IIRC the rear bumper is not the Grand Prix bumper. it's a lot of scratchbuilding regardless...not trivial.
  16. Actually, it's an '83 Hurst/Olds. They haven't announced a 442, but the rumor is they will do an '85 442 version eventually...and putting the MPC Grand Prix front on it wouldn't give you a Grand Prix, but a Cutlass w/ a Grand Prix nose...the body and interior are different. (the Southern Stocker kit was a Regal race car body w/ different front ends).
  17. That Model A reissue was mentioned here in some thread a few months ago.the thought was it is a.reissue of a '70s version without the Ala Kart parts...
  18. I believe they used that box art for several years...that is a '74 in that version...
  19. My folks were primarily Ford/Mercury/Lincoln buyers, my brother Chevy, Pontiac and Ford/Mercury, my sister mostly Japanese and European w/ a couple Chevys. I started out w/ Fords then as I moved on after grad school I branched out, w/ BMW, Jeep, Mercedes and Cadillacs over the last 18 years....my next will probably be another Jeep. I've always found a lot of vehicles from different makes interesting..
  20. Yes, it looks like a typical 80s Monogram kit...very similar to the Monte Carlo SS or Grand National parts breakdown...nothing wrong with that.
  21. 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter..the vans look like fun, and the Talbot-Lago GP car (I assume that is a reissue).
  22. Went out to dinner w/ my sister tonight, she ordered a pinot grigio, and the waitress thought it was a beer and then mentioned the types of beer they had. And we both got carded...
  23. I've enjoyed the two episodes so far...the second episode pacing felt better, crisper..the first one was a little slow, but they had to re-establish who was who and what was going on after all the years away. It was odd there was no mention of the Svetta storyline in the 2nd episode...1st one ended ambiguously as to her fate. Episode 3 looks like it will be a 'monster of the week' type episode rather than a conspiracy one. I need to go back and rewatch the original series, was a fan from the first episode, but haven't rewatched many...
  24. Looking forward to this...may get a couple. I have an R&R resin '65 Belvedere sedan and wagon in my stash also. Will be interesting to see if I can kitbash these w/ the Lindberg kits--one for the 6 cyl and one for the Hemi and hood scoop.
  25. Whiners. I watched the football game, the post show, then the X-Files. No problem. DVRs can't adjust for delayed starting times, best to just watch it live...or set the record times to start an hour early and end an hour later, to have a buffer.
