One thing interesting w/ the 3D printed resin kits is that, for example--there are multiple printing vendors--at least 4--currently offering the XJ Cherokee (all originating from Andrey Bezrondy's files, I believe) on FB and eBay...some ship quicker than others, some with higher quality than others...and if you have your own 3D printer and the skills and time, you can theoretically print your own since AB's files are available for purchase on cults3D and other sites. Lots of choices. Interesting times, and so much now available in the 3D space that will never be offered as a mainstream styrene kit or traditional resin kit. I've bought a number of 3D prints of a variety of subjects, esp. the 70s land yachts I love...got to find the time and motivation to build them, though.

Yes..I use very few stamps in a year (pay all my bills online), so I order them from the USPS website. Got a few sets of the neat pony car series last year.

The difference w/ Round 2 is that they have a vast tooling bank to draw upon for reissues and modified reissues to pay for cloning and new tools. This Jo-Han is starting from nothing...will be interesting to see where they go. The 3D market is growing, definitely seems like one viable direction to go...lots of potential there.

Do you also have 1:1 project cars?
Rob Hall replied to ctruss53's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
My '87 Mustang GT and my '69 Mustang are my long term project cars. I don't have the time, tools and skills to do the restoration work myself, but definitely can write checks to professionals to do that. The '87 was mostly finished last week (needs a few small things still done that I can probably do myself without ruining things), and the work on the '69 is just getting started after close to 30 years in the barn (my Dad bought it new, the year before I was born). -

I recall the street machine version having a Super Bee hood decal. -
I've bought a number of diecast, model kits, resin kits and parts, 3d printed etc from hobby shops/vendors in the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Ukraine and Estonia--never had any issues, just long waits in some occasions. Same with Hong Kong and Japanese vendors. I guess I've just been lucky. The worst vendor issues I've had to deal with were vendors in the US.

I was on the road today in this…drove my ‘87 Mustang GT 100 miles home from the shop. Turned 65k miles today. Drove great..(drove it throughout the 1990s).. Had been stored at my family farm for 20 years and driven very little over the last 20 years. Got it home in time to store for winter. Put in a couple favorite CDs from the 90s to listen to--Pink Floyd's 'The Division Bell' and Pearl Jam's 'Vs'. I felt 25 again... -

1960 Ford big truck grille
Rob Hall replied to 1st 700 Quad's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
That looks a lot like the 1959 F-100 grille. I'd like to see a '59 grille and trim for the '60 kit. One thing peculiar I've noticed about the '58-60 Ford trucks is they seem to have huge gaps between the grille and hood. -
Those are neat. There is also a '65 GMC stepside crew cab in Andrey Bezrodny's files, has a different greenhouse.

The engine from the '71 Charger Super Bee street machine kit represents an aftermarket, non-factory Hemi IIRC. The regular R/T kit was a 440 w/ A/C and bench/bucket seat, IIRC. -
Reissue? Been a while since it was last out.

Same trailer I’d assume. There are pics of it from the DAAM show with the trailer on FB.

I would think any of the '68-72 A body kits would work, the chassis didn't change much for the '73-77 generation..same 112 inch wheelbase for 2drs. The recent Revell '68-69 Chevelle or MPC/AMT '69 Cutlass would be good chassis donors as they have the most detail compared to the older AMT/MPC kits. I have resin '73 Cutlasses and a resin '73 Chevelle that came w/ chassis, and the caster's chassis looks a lot like the AMT or Revell kits, IMO.
