  1. While waiting at a light this afternoon, I saw someone walk across the street on a No Walk sign whilst playing with their phone and almost get hit...never looked up, kept going..
  2. True..I started in '78 as a kid, so I take much of modeling history for granted, as common knowledge...there is just so much information available here and on other sites about kits, that every reissue seems predictable to me..that little is unknown..
  3. Wow..sad to hear. I've been buying parts for restorations and kits from them for about 20 years now..
  4. That looks sharp...that will go nicely with your Ranchero...may have to get both.
  5. Interesting...is that a pipe connecting the exhaust manifolds in front of the engine? Never seen something like that..
  6. I've seen a few i3s around, they look like a shrunken Honda Element and with those skinny tires...ugh. The i8 on the other hand, looks much better in person than in pics. As far as hybrids and electrics go, I think the best looking is the Tesla S, I see them everyday..I liked the look of the Fisker Karma--looked like a 4dr Corvette--but sadly they went bust.
  7. I have no interest in the silly stuff or Tom Daniels stuff, but apparently it still sells so they keep reissuing them...
  8. I'd love to see those, plus a Marauder version...
  9. Seriously???? It's common knowledge these kits are old tooling. if you pay attention on here, you would know that Round 2 has been doing nothing but reissues for the last several years...you must be new to the hobby.
  10. Saw one of the new '15 Ford F150s on the road or the first time today...silver crew cab, temporary plate...looks like someone really broke in their new truck--was splattered w/ mud and had lots of dents in the aluminum body panels.. also saw a derelict 70s Chevy LUV in a restaurant parking lot--had been red I think at one time, paint was faded to flat orangish..not one panel was straight, nose was crunched in, doors dented, bed sides mashed down..but still in use. Was a 2 round headlight version, I remember seeing them w/ 4 round lights..
  11. Yeah, I remember building the '64 Impala and '69 Cougar in the 'Countdown Series' in the late '70s as a kid. I love these old kits, as simple as they are..they can build up quite nicely with some effort. They have been reissued so many times that they are pretty familiar... I have the original issues and some later ones, probably will get the new reissues also, as I've got some variations in mind to build eventually....
  12. It's a 45+ yr old tool (with a few parts that were new tooling about 20 years ago). You can't expect a modern platform interior, etc in something that old. This kit has been reissued many times, so it's content is well known.
  13. Spring is definitely in the air..baseball Spring traiining has started here, the weather is warm and sunny...nice breeze outside today.
  14. Seems like they are often pretty clueless...likewise on the new snap Jeep, why is it an old one and not the current generation?
  15. Would be neat to see one of the Monogram ones reissued.
  16. Yes, especially considering Round 2 owns Lindberg..it was nothing more than typical message forum crackpot ramblings...
  17. That is evident from the thread title, isn't it?
  18. Ahh..I was wondering, haven't seen a resin convertible body. I have the Motor City coupe.
  19. Sharp build..resin body or scratchbuilt?
  20. Wagons had bumper guards, found several pics with them..
  21. I bought his 70 Dart Swinger kit last month from his site w no problems
  22. The Revell DTM BMW kit is the previous generation 3 series, I believe...isn't this the new 4 series coupe?
  23. Saw some interesting cars on the way home from work this afternoon...first, a red w/ white vinyl top '68 Riviera in good shape in my office parking garage...in the 6 months I've been there, this is the first old car I've seen the garage. On the street, saw a black '40 Ford convertible and a green '70s Triumph Spitfire, both being driven top down... also saw an orange '15 Challenger Hellcat, first one I'd seen.
