  1. Here's my Heisenberg figure, got it off of eBay a while back..
  2. I'll probably watch the whole series again eventually. I didn't watch it the last 5 years when it was on regularly--discovered it back in March of this year (after so many friends asked if I watched it, thought I'd check it out) and have been streaming all the episodes to catch up ('binging', as they say).
  3. Neat idea..I have that kit and that set of decals, not sure where I'm going to use them...
  4. Time is always a factor..if I've got vacation days to burn, maybe I'll drive (to places in So Cal from Phoenix), but it's hard to beat the speed and convenience of flying..flying over to San Diego tommorow for the Coronado Speed Festival, San Francisco for work in a couple weeks, then So Cal again in October for the Indy Car race at Fontana...
  5. Consult the 'Book of Knowledge' i.e. Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_Reo
  6. My work iPhone 5 is updating right now...takes a while, I've heard.
  7. I'd love to have models of the classic XJ Cherokee and the WJ (2nd generation) Grand Cherokee like my 1:1. Alas, neither were ever done in 1:24th/1:25th. I'd love to also see a kit of the original Ford Bronco--and the 'Big Oly' racing version--- and the Bronco II (my first SUV was an '88 Bronco II XLT Eddie Bauer).
  8. Love this show..will be interesting to see how it wraps up. What you said is kind of how I think it's going to wind up, with the family going into witness protection and dissapearing. I have a Heisenberg figure, would love to have a model of Walt's Aztek and Heisenberg's 300 SRT8... It's probably my favorite TV show since The Sopranos and The Wire a decade ago...so well written and such complicated characters..
  9. Then why post in this thread if you have no interest in or understanding of the subject? Are you just trying to stir up trouble? The Fox era Mustang saved the Mustang brand after the disasterous Mustang II...these were and are very popular cars amongst Mustang enthusiasts.
  10. I wonder if that large scale '70s Trans Am was the same kit that was once boxed as a Otaki...I saw one of these in a hobby shop in Florida as a kid around 1982.
  11. Agreed...lots of good looking cars made in the last 40 years, not to mention the tremendous improvements in performance, safety, efficiency, comfort, etc.
  12. Sharp build..that engine looks great in there. Like the color and wheel choice..
  13. That top pic looks like the beginning of a diorama w/ the weathering (natural dust, I assume). The rebuild is sharp!
  14. Sharp build...I built that kit as a kid and was surprised as to how it has no inner fenders...mine is a yellow glue bomb.
  15. Looks sharp...I like the '56 styling (the rear) over the '55....
  16. Depends. I use Chrome, Firefox, Safari and occasionally IE as needed. I tend to use Chrome the most whether on a Mac or Windows.
  17. Sharp build...
  18. Good point..iHobby Expo is around a month from now?
  19. Got the new issue of MCM in the mail today...looks like a good one. Nice to see the article on the D.R.A.G. resin casters..neat to see inside a resin casting enterprise. My issue arrived w/ one staple missing, so have to handle it carefully..
  20. Wow..that is a sweet build...very clean. Like the color choices.
  21. The new one has neat box art...
  22. Another phantom engine option example is the AMT '70 & '71 Torino Cobra annuals and the '70 Galaxie 4dr sedan. All 3 kits came w/ Boss 429s which weren't offered in the real cars.
  23. MPC '76 Plymouth Road Runner. MPC repeated the '75 kit (which in 1:1 was based on the midsize Fury) when in reality, the '76 Road Runner trim moved down to the new compact Volare...
