They are very nice. I had preordered a couple sets from the USPS website a while back, also got a couple ones on matts to frame for my office (the Cougar and Mustang).

Beautiful build..love those old Johans -
And in recent years they have consolidated..the dealer in Phoenix I bought my current Jeep at is a Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram franchise, while my local one here in Cleveland bills itself as Chrysler Ram Jeep Dodge store.
-
The dealership in Colorado Springs where I bought my ‘00 Grand Cherokee back in ‘00 was a Chrysler Plymouth Jeep dealer…

Inconceivable!

Reminds me of how a 1/64th diecast Hudson Hornet was named as a 'Chrysler Hudson' on the packaging maybe 20 years ago... Racing Champions Mint brand IIRC... licensing, I guess...
-
In olden days, the dealerships were branded Chrysler-Plymouth, IIRC.

I like the look. Looking forward to this kit. My favorite Z was the ‘90s 300ZX (got the Tamiya kits of those).

I have it on DVD, probably haven’t watched it in 20 years. I remember seeing it in the theatre, fun popcorn film. Talledega Nights is a lot of fun also. -
The Lindberg ‘67 was last out 6 years ago, they probably are reissuing it with AMT retro style box art like they are doing with the ‘66 Chevelle.

Sounds like an S with Plaid mode. They are quite fast, more so than an S with Ludicrous mode. -

I saw a lot like that in AZ, though they often had oxidized paint and sun-damaged plastics. -

When I do see 20 yr old vehicles around here (NE Ohio) they are often worn out or rusty. Don’t see that many out and about in good shape. -

My understanding is 'clean' coal is a marketing myth pushed by Big Coal and the corrupt politicians they own. Nothing new, there have been articles about it for years..for example: https://e360.yale.edu/features/the_myth_of_clean_coal https://cer.org.za/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Myth-of-Clean-Coal-Fact-Sheet_Final_November-2018.pdf https://www.greenamerica.org/fight-dirty-energy/amazon-build-cleaner-cloud/coal-why-it-dirty -

Yeah, riiiighht..if you are such a self-important know it all, then why don't you get a job with one of the automakers rather than hanging out here? -
Yeah, that is what I figure it will be... the interesting thing is, Datsun actually had a L'il Hustler trim package in 1:1 back then...MPC kind of misused the name for their street rod truck kit.

Wingdings are preferable to comic sans, though my favorite is Helvetica--even watched the documentary.

That one was just out a couple years ago, though.

Yeah, a lot of armchair experts..it's the usual crowd on here that like to complain and grumble about anything new and different from how things were 50-60 years ago, they seem incapable of seeing anything positive about the modern world or future. Best to just ignore them. -
The '29 Ford Woody/truck was reissued just in the last year as an AMT, I'm sure it's the same but now with Coke livery. The Datsun could be the street rod flip nose version, since the stock version was out a few years ago. Last time that Kenworth was out was around 1979, I remember that from the first AMT catalog I got as a kid.

As far as electric home power equipment, I have electric chainsaws, leaf blower, leaf mulcher, screwdrivers, drill and snowblower, all work fine for me. Saw the pics today of the Charger Daytona EV coupe concept, looks great. Hope the production model looks as good. I’m looking forward to seeing how it does. Lots of interesting EVs on the market now, lots more coming…
