Yeah, a lot of armchair experts..it's the usual crowd on here that like to complain and grumble about anything new and different from how things were 50-60 years ago, they seem incapable of seeing anything positive about the modern world or future. Best to just ignore them.

The '29 Ford Woody/truck was reissued just in the last year as an AMT, I'm sure it's the same but now with Coke livery. The Datsun could be the street rod flip nose version, since the stock version was out a few years ago. Last time that Kenworth was out was around 1979, I remember that from the first AMT catalog I got as a kid.

As far as electric home power equipment, I have electric chainsaws, leaf blower, leaf mulcher, screwdrivers, drill and snowblower, all work fine for me. Saw the pics today of the Charger Daytona EV coupe concept, looks great. Hope the production model looks as good. I’m looking forward to seeing how it does. Lots of interesting EVs on the market now, lots more coming…

The gasser one is the 1/24th Monogram tool. 'Badman', etc..

I don't see why not...the '71 kit is derived from the '72 convertible..could swap various parts to make a '72 442 ht or a '71 442 convertible.

One positive thing about the USPS--I'm not really a stamp collector, but their upcoming pony car set really appeals to me, as it includes a '67 Cougar and '69 Mustang. Greenlight makes the modern US-market full size Transit in 1/64th and 1/43rd in a variety of liveries, haven't seen a 1/24th one. Haven't seen a Transit Connect in any scale.

It is fascinating how quickly car styling changed back then...in 1967 a 1958 car must have looked ancient. While today a 9 yr old car often looks very similar to a current car.

Because the older guys are always whining about how anything and everything isn't the same as it was in their warm fuzzy memories of 50-60 years ago or whatever point in the past they long for...gets really old...time passes, the only constant is change, this is 2022...not 1972..can't live in the past.

I hate those ugly gray colors...they seem to be everywhere currently...

The 2 headlight grille in round and square light versions would be good to see.

The 4 headlight grille is good, but the 2 headlight grille that’s been used on several releases is pretty inaccurate.

With the grille they can only backdate to about 1979, though. The hood, fenders, taiilight shape differs on the earlier models, along with the dash and other interior details. The easiest change would be to tool up some accurate 80s style grilles.

I'd definitely like a later one to do one Dajiban style...

Depends on the car..I like black wheels on some performance cars, but they look silly imo on all these generic midsize CUVs/SUVs that are often white w/ black wheels..

From what the website says, you can set greetings, chimes and have the lid open and light come on as you approach it.

It has a remote control for the heated seat, lights, presentation settings, etc, and a phone app...being able to flush from my phone while away from home sounds fun...but not particularly useful.

I've put some Gorilla Glue sealant on it for now... I'm planning on remodeling this particular bathroom in the next year anyway.. want to put a hydrotherapy tub and maybe one of those Toto Wifi smart toilets.

I don't think they have ever reissued that kit, it is a sharp kit with a lot of nice parts. I don't think the stock modern tool version has been reissued more than once, but the ancient '57 gets reissued every few years...strange.

Noticed a hairline crack down the tank on one of my toilets... doesn't seem to be leaking yet, but still...
