Its been a very wet and cool spring so far here in NE Ohio. Lots of rain and wind lately.

I'd love to see a kit of a doka syncro. When I lived in Denver there was one similar to this in my office parking garage.

Saw a Fisker Ocean a few days ago

Saw a Fisker Ocean recently and this clean ‘80s Porsche 911 cabrio at a rest area.

I got mine the last time I got a new driver's license when I moved in 2023.

The F&F kits are neat...maybe they will tool up an Eclipse eventually, with the removable floor pan plate and a laptop with a screen sticker with 'Warning!!! Danger to Manifold' message.

I built my first snap kit at age 5 in 1975, my first glue kit in 1977 at age 7..it was the Revell 'Bad Dream' '56 Chevy. Still have it.

My neighbors are pretty quiet and keep to themselves..the retired Vietnam Vet next door sometimes can be a bit chatty if he sees me out in the driveway, but fine otherwise. My house is set way back off the street and on about 2 acres, so plenty of space and trees from the neighbors on each side, w/ woods and a city park behind me. It's a very quiet neighborhood. My previous house, though, where I lived from 2017-2023 had neighbors on one side that had a lot of parties with Ukrainian music for a couple years..but they eventually moved and the people that replaced them had a lot of parties w/ country music and setting off fireworks many summer weekends... Besides tiring of the noisy neighbors and my split level house, I wanted more space and quiet when I bought my current ranch and moved in 2023. I plan to retire here eventually.

I got some neat Chevy truck grilles and Beaumont conversion parts from Canuck 3D in the mail.

I don’t have any interest in the Scorpion, but if they could retool the Astro 1 that would be cool.

Yes, I have a few Palmers that my older brother built back then and later passed on to me. And I like Cougars (have all the AMT and MPC ones)—my folks had a 1:1 ‘67 and a ‘68. When I was about 10 (1980) my older brother gave me a box with about 25 kits he built in the 60s, and ‘58-65 vintage promos. Kind of kick started my interest in old kits…

I found the ThunderZ easily. It’s much as it was when I built it 43 years ago as a kid. Unpainted with the decals. The 78 should be somewhere in the top of these stacks. These are mostly kits I built in the late 70s to early 90s.

I built the MPC '78 annual stock and the ThunderZ (as on the box art) as a kid...still have them in their original brush-painted glory. I can see getting one of the reissues..

Basic common sense security... I use a VPN, never connect to odd wifi networks (only to my home network and my car network), ad blockers, a password manager, complex passwords different for each app/website, never click on random links or attachments, always check the headers and from address of questionable emails to see if it's as expected, block senders of random messages....

I’ve been working as a software engineer for almost 30 years, designing and building internet services and applications, many years in banking systems and mobile applications, so I’m comfortable doing most things mobile. I like to get out of my office and do things online from my phone outside, in the living room, etc.

I do a lot from my phone... pay my bills (incl. my mortgage), move money between accounts, buy/sell stock, adjust my hot tub settings, adjust my thermostats, stream music from my phone to my patio and hot tub speakers, etc. I have four 24 inch monitors in my home office (2 for my work laptop and 2 for my personal laptop), but my phone goes with me wherever I go...
