  1. Find a smaller gauge wire. The original choice seemed too thick. Might help your clearance issues as well.. 30awg or 32awg might work better.
  2. This truck is from the movie they made many years after the show stopped airing.
  3. now to get Revell to deliver this stuff to the US hobby shops. Can't find it anywhere. And I'm not paying some schmoe a hunnert bux for the shipping.
  4. That sucks. Stay safe. It was hazy here in Wisconsin due to the fires in Canada
  5. Hard to find in the USA. European suppliers won't ship to US for individuals.
  6. Glad to see the Toyotas are out. Maybe I can do a Bubba Wallace car in the future.
  7. I had a real one, a 76 with the 304 V8. Really loved that car.
  8. You never see these on American roads. A Russian Lada Niva. I have to assume it was purchased in Canada.
  9. Thanks very much. I thought the air cleaner decals looked like Chevy pieces. AMC engines are unique to themselves but if you want cubic inch emblems, then that's what you have to do.
  10. Love your build. I had a head scratcher moment when I saw you painted the engine red. I know the kit box depicts a red engine but I had always thought these engines were painted a teal metallic color. So I did some digging on the internet and found that most 327 engines were painted red whereas the 287s were teal. I owned a 66 AMC wagon with the 287. I want to ask where the engine decals came from that you used. I know the kit doesn't provide them.
  11. Did Round2 lose the Bond license? Also is Revell thinking of doing the notchback body?
  12. It was pretty much a plebian car, but it could be something good. SC360 version for one and the Hornet X V8 hatchback for another. I had the 304 and it was a handler and pretty damned quick. I autocrossed mine and beat others in my class. Mustangs with the 302 were hard to beat though. Similar styled front suspension but Ford got it right.
  13. Cant wait to see what you do with it.
  14. Looks pretty good. Better than I expected seeing it had it's roots in a die cast model. Does have that rather blocky parts breakdown.
  15. I ordered one. The model got here in about a week.
  16. Revell marketed the Fujimi kit under it's own name also.
  17. Is this for real? Plus I saw the Mustang kit with Bond reference as well under Revell. I thought that was a Round2 kit.
  18. shouldn't be too difficult. Some sheet plastic, both clear and white should help you make the phone booth. Other "T" rod kits will get you the body and engine bits. As an aside, there was a Karl Kasper in the Milwaukee area who built hot rods and did custom upholstery and was involved with the hot rod/street rod/custom scene. Not the same guy but interesting. His son now is a top notch interior upholstery guy in the area.
  19. Thanks for the input. Looking forward to this truck kit. BTW, I love the 64 Olds that was produced. I'm hoping for a rehash of the 66 Skylark in stock form...please please pretty please Round2.
  20. My new issue of Model Cars came today.
