  1. Nice little motor. Great job adding missing details. I think that engine has been used until 1959 ( JoHan Mopar build?) until the slant six came into use in 1960 I think. I would try and find smaller gauge wire for your plug wires.
  2. Here is hoping some work continues. i understand totally about the whole creative/on-off switch thing. I've just stated getting out my kits and putting glue to parts and painting them. My trouble seems to stem from the fact that I must paint at work because I live in an apartment where I cannot paint. So I'm limited to spray cans and brush work. You cannot set up an airbrush, mix paint, prep body, spray body and then break down an airbrush for cleaning in ten minutes break time...damned slave driving boss expects me to actually do work during shop hours...how unreasonable can he be?
  3. Now Revell had their own 1/25th scale Elky too. Not really sure if the Bass Buster was using that tool. MMI on the chassis usually indicates a Monogram kit
  4. Monogram kit, 1/24th. I believe it was sold separately too. https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.vwzdrvsEGYZHh9gQh-KvaAEsDe&pid=15.1&P=0&w=221&h=165 https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.IwxHXMxXodPwCwRoE1pWjAEsDA&pid=15.1&P=0&w=256&h=165
  5. This has given me inspiration to try and scratch my 1983 Mercury Marquis Brougham. May be a bit easier as it's a Fox platform car and the Mustang kits should supply a chassis at least. This car...
  6. Restoptimized ... I really like that. Not fond of anything with the word Pimp in it. That should go in the trash bin along with a few other words I won't say here.
  7. Latex house paint thinned down makes decent white wall paint
  8. Got my Heller Ferguson Tractor kit. Very nice layout of the trees. Just be very careful with removing the really thin parts. A couple of control rods are very fragile and will break.
  9. Wilhelm's Wonder? That is now the Ice Cream Truck they just released.
  10. I had that Mark IV and Trailer kit still sealed. Got it cheap myself then sold at swap meet for $100 about a year ago.
  11. You sir, have just won the internet. Glue or no glue, if it looks great...I want it.
  12. The Fugimi Cavalier was the Toyota version. Yes, Chevy sold their Cavies under the Toyota name. The Japanese hated them becuase they were not up to the standards of Toyota's own cars. It was part of GM's and Toyota's collaboration in those days that brought us the late 90s Chevy Nova/Geo Storm cars.
  13. Traded off the 2010 HHR Panel and now drive a 2011 GMC Terrain. Has the 2.4 Ecotech engine similar to my HHR. Nice SUV. Needed a bigger hauler for my DJ gear. I do miss the HHR as the both of them were trouble free.
  14. I got my Heller Petit Gris Fergie tractor and it is an amazing kit.
  15. The Opel Admiral is in 1/24th
  16. Squadrons...I edited my mistake as I said Stevens...which would be wrong.
  17. Officially, the back light is a back light in the US too.
  18. Wouldn't mind seeing the Packard moved up to 1/24 scale. I think they should do some of the Eastern Europe from behind the former Iron Curtain cars as well, my Chinese Hong Qi CA770 is very lonely in the case.
  19. I just looked at what you posted. Grille falling off, crooked radiator install and jagged BMF work plus no wiring under the hood and dust. You think he would take care of those issues before offering it for sale.
  20. Revell Germany's just reissued Opal GT kit in 1/32 scale. The chassis looks like it was cribbed from an old Palmer kit...dual exhausts and leaf springs
  21. It's basically the same chassis as the Monaco or Polara kits that MPC put out in 65 and 66. So any full size chassis from that era Mopar kit would probably work.
  22. If yer not using the stock tail lamp for the Monaco, would you sell me the chrome piece that sits inside the red piece?
