  1. No. Chevy Chase drove a highly customized Ford Crown Vic wagon. Supposedly to represent a fictitious make called the Queen Family Truckster.
  2. Still wanting a Renwal 66 Jordan and a AMT 66 Buick Skylark. Also I think it was a 69 Mustang you could make a convertable or a notchback from the kit. Made by Revell.
  3. Brewed ten miles from me. Who knew!
  4. Never even heard of Wisconsin Premium, and I live in Wisconsin.
  5. After further research, I see I was wrong, especially after dusting off my old Standard Catalog Of Cars book.
  6. The Toyota 2000GT was never made with a left hand dash, as the car was never imported to a western country. Even ones sold through private hands stay RHD
  7. MG? Must have been the Clenet. They were however based on late 70s LTD IIs or Mercury versions. Some used Town Car or Continental grilles. Smaller versions used MG doors, glass, and trunk lids. The larger ones used VW Super Beetle glass and doors, but all had Ford underpinnings. I remember applying for a job there in Goleta and seeing the half disassembled Fords in the back of the shop. They would sell those to body shops.
  8. why does Fotki offer free service to Russia and Estonia and make others pay? Why are they so special.
  9. I can just imagine those Elkys being put to work in some collective farm hauling produce.
  10. I wonder if ol' Branch "Twig" Lew is still around.
  11. Of all the 68/69 GM mid size cars, the Buick looked very nice in my eye. The side sweep detail was great. Didn't hurt that my Grandfather had a new one and I later owned a 69 Special DeLuxe. The Chevelles were chunky and Olds were bloated. The Ponchos were pretty cool though.
  12. He also has a stock body too.
  13. or the "No Fat Chicks" bumper sticker
  14. Futurattraction (Forum Member) has made Futura two doors in a stock and pro street configuration. That would be your beginning piece. They are resin bodies but would give you the beginnings for converting to a wagon. Fox platform based so a Mustang kit would donate the running gear/drive line.
  15. A kit of an Amish buggy and a horse, a 37 Ford coupe streetrod, and a Trabant by Revell
  16. OK, I went to open office and was able to figure it out and made several images of what i wanted. A 1955 Ford dashboard which also got me the proper emblem. Figured the sizing thing and hopefully I have what I need. .
  17. I want to finish a diecast rebuild and I need emblems and the speedometer image of the car. I can find many examples of them online. I try to copy said images and go to print and my PC doesn't have a print icon or print button ....I don't know what to call it.... Anyway I just cant print the image...I hate to admit it but I do not know how. Somethings like my card program or other things I can print easily but not plain images. Any help?
  18. 307 came in 1968. I had a Chevelle Nomad wagon with that sorry engine.
  19. Don't do that. It will make it hard to stick to the model too. Burnish it down well with a Q-tip
  20. Thank the Styrene Gods for Alex and the Model Empire. Great store with a lot of car kits plus other things to interest anyone. Alex has taken his inventory to the big car shows in our area and also sells online. We had others, but one store closed because the owner was retiring and the family did not want to do the work. Others were so bad that they had to fall by the wayside. it's building was falling in on itself and the owner was a totally unfriendly guy. Model kits totally soaked from the leaky roof and over priced to boot. The place eventually burned to the ground...Karma? Insurance fire? POed hobbyist? Who knows.
  21. I don't think it was a browser cache or cookies. Mine was slow and balky even after doing the clearing. Right now it's operating very fast like it should.
