  6. whoa, that's a complete 180! Excellent looking model!!
  7. Dave Van had good advice. Click the word "advanced" to the right of the blue search button at the top right of the page. When that page opens, drop all the way down to the seller section, and click "only show items from". Drop down again and click the arrow next to the word "include", and the word "exclude" will appear. Click on exclude and move to the right and fill in the seller name of who you wish to exclude. Now drop down to "search" at the bottom of the page, and you're done. If you've done the operation successfully, you'll notice a line of small print on the page of search results. This line will appear directly below the four-color eBay logo at the top left, and will say "toys & hobbies>model kits>blah blah>name of excluded seller. I'm no eBay expert, but this method works for me...
  8. I had problems with Testors enamels, particularly flat black, but I found that the Testors line of acrylics worked MUCH better. For a flat black I recommend the engine flat black and aircraft interior flat black. Both, for me, cover very well, with few brush strokes, and they dry quickly.
  9. Great looking paint--great color!
  10. I've used MM Flat Engine Black on the AMT tires--just a very light coat and those letters disappear...
  11. I've ordered carbs from them and received excellent products and service.
  12. I LIKE it!!
  13. glad to be of assistance, my friend
  14. You might have better luck on the Fine Scale Modeler website forum. There's an armor section there.
  15. excellent!!!
  16. Think the pan is correct--early Novas with V8s had a unique oil pan for clearance.
  17. I miss automotive color myself. My wife and I have driven back and forth to California several times, and she's noticed the lack of brighter colors on cars on the interstate. Reminds me of a description of a group of librarians in a novel by Sarah Bird: "...all of them garbed in three-piece suits in a rainbow of hues running from clam to cement."
  18. Snake: Check out Scenes Unlimited, also. He reproduces several sets of American spoke wheels, and the quality and service are outstanding!
  19. The most I've ever laid out was $95 for a complete '61 Ford Starliner annual a few years back. On the other hand, I once paid .25 for an MPC '68 GTO at a swap meet, and $8 for a complete AMT '66 Mustang 2+2, but that was a ways back...
  20. I like that wheel/tire/hub cap idea!
  21. Must be tough living in a place so flat and barren...
  22. I've got an Ipod classic with slightly over 21,000 songs on it. It's plugged into a small shelf system stereo with a docking station, and I keep it on shuffle most times. I've got everything on it from Americana to soul and R&B, garage rock to a few Broadway show tunes, '60s folk to Grateful Dead to some metal. '50s, '60s, '70s and on up. Never a dull moment, no commercials, and I'm in charge of the playlist!
