  3. This is one of the best Volksrods I've seen. Great job and good eye!
  4. I/m not sure how I missed your WIP so had to go back to see where you did the wedge section. It is very effective and came out looking really good! I like all the custom touches you did and they all flow together. VERY nice Merc.
  5. That's a wonderful weathering job!
  6. Welcome, Alex. These 1/25 are going to seem HUGE after HO, but just think of all the detail you can do!

  11. The clothing is as good as the face "sculpting" wise.
  12. Pretty cool. You know, if you want to get a print of your digital images from a photo finisher it will be rare if it's NOT on Kodak paper! They're still alive ...
  13. Gorgeous finish!!
  14. There are many different texture paints in spray cans that can give similar effects. I see them in big box, auto and craft stores. I'd look around your area and see what you find. They usually have the top painted so you can get an idea what the texture would be like.
  15. geeze .... you SURE this isn't a 1:1 you're building??
  16. Thanks for the correction on the seat belts guys ... I kind of forgot this was a convertible .. I had only hardtop bugs. ... apologies to RoG too!
  17. Oh Yeah ... I want to see you do Janis' paint job!
  18. I don't pay attention to categories unless I'm starting a new thread. I always peruse the board with View New Content so I don't miss anything and go into the ones that look interesting to me ... and most new Under Glass subjects. I like all good models.
  19. Last count it was 20 waiting for me ... I'm known to not finish a lot, but it'd just that I enjoy working on them so mush I hate to put them on the shelf! There's 3 right now on my bench and been on and off with them ... sometimes work on all in one day.
  20. Sure came out looking good for a fighter!
  21. Good to see you made it, Charlie! Came out looking good! Saw inn the NNL East thread you explored the Wayne backroads ... too bad it didn't make the schedule this year as my wife grewup there and I have an inside track ,, ehhe
  22. Drop dead gorgeous work on that!
  23. I always lover the fins on this ... from the day one was spotted in the dealers back lot before opening day.
  24. I'm rooting for ya Charlie! I wouldn't hesitate to try the One Coat paint. Just test on a sprue from same kit .. you know. I've just been impressed how these paints go on and come out looking.
