  1. That paint looks great! The decals looks good on the van ,, never seen these. I'd try using Micro Sol to get the decals set down. Use a pin hole where air may be trapped. I love all the parts in the interior.
  2. Usually my makeshift coat hangers for bodies and for small parts alligator clips on hooked sprue along with flat wood sticks for double sided tape
  3. You should be embarrassed to have that photo available!
  4. This one snuck on while I was away at MassCar and it blows everything there out of the water. The body alone is creative ... that's on the original body? ... I love it! The tale behind it sounds like Chrysler Marketing Department talking ..
  5. My photos from MassCar. I was never able to meet anyone from here but the viewing was a pleasure. I think I was more impressed by the younger builders than anything else. MassCar 2011
  6. That sounds like the one .. very good looking Mustang.
  7. Thanks Mike, Chuck and Simon .. you're all too kind.
  8. That radiator is made of the same stuff as the hammer! This is all looking great ... but I too agree that rear camber is a tire destroyer!
  9. Could well be if he has one. I just saw the NH plates and wondered
  10. I beat ya too it... 53 VW The plates on that one are ones I found online but had to Photoshop the numbers on
  11. I'm here and this is one class MassCar puts on! They have the whole 7th floor reserved and members have the elevator lobby and a room with members taking registration for tomorrow's show. Tonight they have a dinner for all. Now, what I want to know, is that Neil's red Shelby Mustang in the parking lot with NH plates? It's strategically located so everyone entering the hotel HAS to pass it.
  12. This is an extensive plate site. I was able to find the USA Army plate I had on my VW while stationed in Germany in 1968! (U.S. FORCES IN GERMANY ISSUED BETWEEN 1966-1973 - EMBOSSED WITH YOUR CUSTOM NUMBER)
  13. Better yet, I have a photo of Betty White I could post to get rid of this thread .....
  14. That interior is something! It's all looking good ... nice to have all these vans in the works as my epic van is moving along like sludge.
  15. Everything's ready to hit the road to MassCar. I just got Ryan Silva's 8 lug wheels Yesterday so it was a mad rush to get mounted. There was a problem fitting to the tires I had so only the rear's are barely attached. This is a shot of the rims with no clean up. The minimal flash came off just from handling. These are beautiful wheels! Here's the mock up as it will appear at MassCar tomorrow.
  16. Thanks for this ... I've been dying to see the Offy engine. Some pretty nice tow vehicles to haul these beautiful builds!
  17. WoW ... hard to believe you taped off those pinstripes ... those end radius' are beautiful!

    slammed beetle

    I really like this puppy!
  19. Another beauty and pleases my 32 fender fetish. I love all the little details in this one. The handrail louver is a real looker!
  20. The overall look is fantastic, but it's the all detail pulling me in!
  21. Very nice builds .. 1st ones? wow! They are very clean. For her next assignment, it's BMF. Hey Ryan ... are you related to our other Ryan Silva here?
  22. /www.nnleast oh, and I'm planning on making it.
  23. I tried Dan's method of pouring the liquid into the mold and adding the powder afterward. My success wasn't that great. It's slightly less gritty than mixing first but the powder still sank to the bottom and got the surface gritty. Maybe another brand of powder will dissolve in the liquid. The door handle was painted with MM Chrome Silver and not finished at all other than scraping away "flash" from the bottom. The mold was RTV silicon squish cast against a door with the handle.
  24. Only one green one, but it's starting to turn the color of dark Irish beer ... appropriate.
  25. Nice clean builds there. 567 Chevys! Would you be interested in a Gremlin that's for sale?
