  1. This should tell you more than you want to know: The Complete Future
  2. Coming along nicely, Stewart. That interior is killer ... really looks good! Now, I'm waiting for the rear door hinges..
  3. Thi sis what I like about the word Custom!
  4. I looked at this once but didn't get it.. was at Jo Anns or Michaels so probably is easy to find in our small versions of these stores has it. Now, after the above I'll have to grab one. The tube flares look really good, especially for just a test.
  5. I have trouble with the current pricing on these kits being that they are so old. I started mine before the new Revell one was out but I got a Revell to steal the front logo and old turn signals off in addition to some interior details. Still, it's a well done kit and the body is in one piece. Yeah, it's still in the shop waiting for a repaint.
  6. This is a good discussion. I always changed directions mostly because instructions said so and it makes sense, as Mike noted. It's good to hear some do stay in the same direction when the curves/area dictates.
  7. Grats on that George! I'm at 39 this year too ...
  8. The best part of weathering is you get to DO all the things you learned NOT to do when finishing a car!
  9. A busy shop there! Looks great .. and welcome to the forum.
  10. Hey Dave ... that's MY garage! Oh wait, I had less than 34 VW kit boxes last time I did this.
  11. I like the look of it. Ride height and tires look in harmony.
  12. Awesome! I hadn't heard Future would do that.
  13. This one today is passing under us and only a dusting of 4". In May we start figuring snow is done.. mid-May!
  14. Strange web page seeing there's no product there. Is he just getting started and has no product to show yet?
  15. Foxer

    Cobra!!!

You may not like the flakes, but that paint job over all those curves ISN'T flaky! ...beautiful
  16. I know you're taunting us with that fan! Beautiful work all around.
  17. Good to hear it's done and going well ... have a good recovery.
  18. Take photos from various distances as the size of the print and the distance will vary. The actual distance changes with the lens focal length on your camera. The 25' Matt mentions is a good start. Take some closer and further away about two feet apart, one foot if you can. One shot will be close to 1/25. The size you print will also change the plate size. A 1/25 plate will be .48" or close to a half inch (state plates are 12" in 1:1). If you take the photos in order, say start 30' away and go closer you should be able to figure where to stand for the next plate. With the wide angle lens in most cameras now you will probable be closer to 15' away for the right size.
  19. Very nice job on those doors!
  20. I'd love to see this being done and especially the finished model!
  21. That's one pile of unique builds. My eyes hurt from the reflections! This was my favorite engine:
  22. For sure not a lot of these here! That's a good looking car! How much detail is that on the engine? Looks like a good kit .. and it's NOT 1/43!
  23. Some of the better painters may correct me on this, but it's defiantly a no-no to polish metallic paint directly as you expose the fine particles in the paint. I add some clear coats and then you can polish as you are only removing material from the clear paint.
  24. I sure like the look of this .. My name is Foxer and I approves of this Build!
