  1. The A-Team does have solid sides.
  2. I went thru a half dozen bodies and kits looking for one with the window cutouts when building the replica of my daughter's van. I don't get why they would even bother removing them since it only removed an option from their kit.
  3. Thanks everyone. Today is the day, tomorrow I go back to practice my stitching.
  4. aha ... didn't see this thread when I commented on your car thread about the black edging. It is paint. Good comments here.
  5. What amazes me more than anything on this is that thin black outline! That's paint?
  6. You sure make a point here! Though, that red one could spark some heated conversation among the hot rod guys as whether it constitutes a 'real' hot rod.
  7. In NJ for NNL East and many Maserati's on the road .. and even as a passenger I missed a shot .. way too many NJ Benz's in the way.
  8. nope ... wrong color ... RED!
  9. , just saying. oops .. I didn't SAY anything, ... just saying.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Good job getting that bugger to sit still for the shot! We won't have to worry about blurry shots from you I can see!
  11. This really bothers me, but I won't be a customer because of it. Someone thinks it's cost effective to just print the same 3D file at two scales rather than rescale the file for two different sizes. Now they still have to make the rims in two different sizes that will scale to different size rims. Maybe this is correct for big/littles ... one industry standard rim and one magically scalled up to a non standard rim fitting no known tire size. Good luck finding tires for these.
  12. That's cool! Scratch one clamp and add many smoothly curved fenders. I fillet above the top wheel in that notch will make it fully rigid.
  13. using electrical tape for the bumper strips is something I'm filing away ... brilliant! This is looking really cool. I'd like to see the rear come down some more, but that is probably true on the 1:1 for me also.
  14. I'm bothered that it is still too early to leave for NNL East ... another couple of hours yet if we want a room waiting we can enter. At least it's only 3 hours ... many are traveling much farther today.
  15. The Game of Thrones Commissary
  16. That's a wonderful looking Ferrari!
  17. That's a well placed use of the decals.
  18. Thanks. Cool you're going to NJ ... I've always admired your stuff I see here. You coming from this side of Ohio? It's a long trip.
  19. Tablecloths are now off my Build List!!!!! It took so many adjustments to get it to fit, and I did start with it all measured out.
  20. here's my Table for the NNL East 30 Decal Table
  21. James won the preview to NNL East 30!!! It's done just in time and the Table will be on the 30 Table flapping in the breeze as everyone walks past ...
  22. That does look good ... !
  23. seems they missed a few .. like 1/18 ... all those diecast cars filling my LHS and 1/87 has about everything as it's HO railroad I don't want to get into other Railroad scales .. oh my ... so many lost sales with the scale fickleness!
  24. I'll be posting and I know many more will too ... the 'East is always well covered by the fans!
