  1. Worst case scenario- you can always build it as a Pete. If you look at it as a Peterbilt and not a Marmon it's actually a very nicely done kit. Then it only has an incorrect grille.
  2. Bad news... that isn't a Marmon. It's a Pete 359 with a goofy grille. So there's actually quite a bit they 'missed' on that one. That's all they did- they basically tooled up a different grille and a set of Marmon decals for a Pete kit and called it a day. And you thought the '70 AAR 'Cuda was bad...
  3. VW Dave suggested the name "Bubble Butt". Think I'm going to go with it.
  4. Every time I peek in on this one, I'm even more impressed!
  5. You can't build it if you don't have it. Simple, really.
  6. Sadly, we lost Ray on April 26th of this year.
  7. Well, well, well... lookie here. Stude #2 done blown a bubble...
  8. Looks good both ways if you ask me. That's me... Mr. Indecisive.
  9. The kind Rob has don't have center caps- the Nova Pro Street wheels do. I think the ones in Robs pics are from the AMT Chevy C1500 Sportside/454 SS kits.
  10. Unless it ends up as part of a scrap load on a trailer or part of a diorama. Either of which are possible...
  11. Based out of Ironwood, Michigan. Fun fact- "Ironwood" is an old Chippewa word for "Jeez... you're practically in Wisconsin."
  12. As much as my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Quinn would surely disagree, I'd have to say you're dead-on in this case.
  13. I was kind of keen on a V8 for this, but... I figure since the Courier was basically a badge-engineered Mazda, I might just stick a turbo Rotary engine from an RX-7 in there. Just a thought.
  14. I'm thinking about it. I've got enough spare truck frames and axles laying around...
  15. It's used by a mini-storage facility to move the old Fruehauf trailer they have on site a couple of times a year so that they can mow the grass around it. Basically it only needs to go back and forth, but you can still see a few gouge marks where the dolly got a little squirrelly.
  16. If you are thinking "Say... that looks like it used to be a truck!", you are correct.
  17. Looks like a marshmallow! Man, great save on that one.
  18. Love it!
  19. Just overflowing with coolness.
  20. Not gonna cut off the top only to put on another one. That would be totally counter-productive! Another shortened body will become a cartoonish drag car-
  21. Wouldn't mind one of those myself, either....
  22. Tackle a 1:8 Classic Pocher one of these days, kiddo. Then we'll see this imaginary dispute of yours between car and truck modelers settled.
  23. Stance on the '78 is dialed in-
