Truck series has a spec engine available....not required...yet. Like I said.....go to a spec engine in Cup.....if that's the way to save the series......but Ford and Toyota will bail day one.....a ll Camaro seies...COOL......oh wait.... the Camaro is bailing too??????
Thanks for confirming my earlier post.
I too worked in NASCAR from the 1980's until late 1990's. I don't care if they go to a spec motor....it worked so well for ASA right??? Remember ASA?? Started getting TV coverage, model kits created....folks knew the drivers and tracks......now I don't know if they are still around....and don't care as all the cars run the same Chevy engine. NASCAR can go spec chassis and engine and be lucky to draw 500 folks to a race. IMHO ONLY.
I'd say you did pretty well. I too like this kit. I've built the Lemon car and the Corp Blue....up next is green. I had to make my own headlight masks decals and rear quarter 'Plymouth' logos.....if anyone needs a set PM me. My kit decals were junk.
Go to a spec single engine supplier and see Ford and Toyota bail...they have committed to that already. A Mustang 'winning' the Daytona 500 with a Chevy based engine.....will not happen.
I seem to recall Pegasus stuff is tooled and run in China....same place Moebius is.....how they got together in a way.
The retail store is a must see......go every visit to SoCaj..
Moebius is now owned by Pegasus......but lots of projects underway last time I met with them. I did a good amount of work for them in the past.....things have slowed...yes....but not closed up.
