I'd not go to W10 if any way possible. I still have a W98 PC that is still the best machine in my house!!

The 23 Ford will be good......and the ex IMC trailer gives a little variety to the trailer kits.

Above my pay grade!! Didn't know those kits were injection molded. -
Coca Cola Kits ?

If they did not sell......WHY would they keep doing them?????? Coke collectors buy anything Coke......watch a collector show about them. Keeps the doors open IMHO!! I can't wait for the Coke edition of the Saturn V rocket!!! -
Never liked that option.....but seen folks cut their own. (model form)

The Moebius Ford pick-up trucks are all new tooling and design from their own in house team. I did a little work early on with the kits and saw each stage of tooling and proofing the tooling/design. Model King Dave Burket is involved in the marketing side....he has a really good insight into what to make and how well it will sell. He does none of the design work....either at Moebius or any version of AMT. I will agree there are items that could be improved on any kit......but there comes a time after a number of tooling revisions that you have to stop and say 'run it'. The gates can be worked around, flash is annoying but again workable. We are a really small market (plastic automotive kits) and we here are a even smaller part of a small market.......cost vs profit enters into each kit. thx

Peterson was always on my list when in LA......but after the huge remodel, inside and out, I am not as big a fan. Still great place......but I miss the old first floor. BTW my LA buddy had his Terraplane pick up featured there for 9 months.....so we visit a LOT (free now!) -

None of the hobby shops noted are either......I figured places in the region. L.A. is near the top in the homeless population.....sadly I got a real good look last time I was there.....and from reports from my buddies.....even worse now a year later. It's a great place....with greater than average issues. -

I kinda agree......except for The Peterson. You pull into a secure covered parking garage, short inside walk to entrance......so you are never on street level L.A. Sad really as every time I was in L.A. I'd walk downtown, to Olvera St to Bradberry building.....buit until they get their act together....No. Pepasus is a drive....well worth it. -
LHS (sorta) seems like it's in trouble

Hobbytown USA has a VERY high franchise fee structure....or they did when we talked to them at RCHTA one year. We passed. Hobby shop margins are slim already........then fees???? -
I saw that car back in the day when HB was dragging it across the country to promote the film. On a open small trailer I had to go up and touch it. Forward to the year 2015 and the same car is in the Peterson......my buddy had to keep a guard busy so I could touch it again!!! Nice BTW

The ONLY Eleanor in my book!!!! Nice work....on my build list too. Only suggestion is base model wheels. Modelhaus made them...but don't know of anyone making them now. Any more pics?? PS the flat hood is also in the old JoHan funny car kit.

Wait........we get mad at folks buying kits at Hobby Lobby for $7.49 and listing them on ebay......... But if any of us wish we could just order a aftermarket item and NOT have to out bid a fellow modeler ....we are somehow bad??? We are a strange lot for sure......no wonder we are known as the lunatic fringe!!!!

The maker has every right to charge and/or sell for any price or method they wish. As stated I was a manufacture and if I added up what I have spent on other cottage model car manufactures....I could buy a high end real car easy. Only selling via auction is fine and sellers right.....but it is far from the norm in our hobby and thus I will miss out on a great item......but I have more than I can build anyway. thx

At one time I made and sold automotive resin model kits. Before I stopped I had produced 6 kits. I had a price and sold all of them for that price. Making folks enter a bidding war to get one looks like one taking advantage of early demand to get max price.....then settling on a price. Don Holthaus doesn't charge a fluctuating price......or I am pretty sure he doesn't. Love to have one....when they are sold at a set price. thx

Looks great to me!!!! Care to share how you did the 4 door woek??? I plan to build one too......using a JoHan 72 rear bumper. thx
