  1. Are they scale or box scale??? Many 1/24 die cast are NOT neat scale....check some of the FnF cars!!
  2. Also his love and restorations of things like stationary steam engines and the like.......because of the mechanical nature.
  3. Current SUV are family trucksters.......4 door sell. We went car shopping in 2014......we went to buy a 4 door Civic or small CRV.....at the dealer we spotted a 2 door Civic and the dealer said he'd give us $4K off if we'd buy it....it had been on the showroom floor for months with not a single tire kicker. And it just being the wife and I...we bought it. Again 4 doors sell.
  4. My vote too....
  5. Per those in the know it's a modified re-tool of the 2 door kit. NO other info was given.
  6. You'd think, big seller or not, they'd want to get more cash out of that tooling. I bought the first one I saw as I thought i'd be a short run.
  7. And the JoHan NASCAR 72 Torino kit has a decent stock frame. The floor pan needs work but a good start.
  8. A 72 body on a 70 chassis will be a custom car. 70 Torino has leaf springs rear, 72 coil with short arms....many other differences too.
  9. If it sells....YES!!!
  10. Trash bin I fear.......
  11. Interesting............Coke sells.......what is the Pinto??
  12. Soon.....very soon.......and they'd sell. I'll get this issue Autocar dump.....never had one. Remember we are the fringe....much more is sold to the rest of the folks over to us here.....
  13. Doubt HL publishes info other than shelf tags......HL is private owned IIRC
  14. Looks like a paint job on a street stock 69.....twin white stripes??
  15. His stuff is so nice........great service too!
  16. I just feel Revell, now of Germany, will look at DTM or even F1 kits rather than NASCAR........ The new Porsche 935 racer is what I see them doing....IMHO ONLY!!!
  17. r was a flea market expert.....she found a AMT 'El Toro' funny car, 1971 era, complete mint for 25 cents!!! She passed a few years ago....so I'll never let it go....btw....she wouldn't take my 25 cents I offered her...
  18. Not that NASCAR paid a 'fee' to have kits made.....but they did waive any fees they would charge Revell like they did in the past. NASCAR had rights over everything.....even body design as they were not cars designed by GM, Ford etc. NASCAR did make all tech specs and CAD available and did all they could to help the process. But if they paid Revell......only those at the top of a bankrupt company can say for sure.
  19. SHARP!!! Just like one my father in law owned........nice work!!!
  20. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. I had no issue so big it would keep me from buying the last RM Cuda.....and build it!!! This body looked OK because, I guess, I didn't know better. A lot of it boils down to what you know on a daily basis........I see issue in RM 48 Ford coupe that I never see anyone else talk about.....but as I have a 1/1 scale version next to my model room....I see the MINOR issues. POV....
  21. Nice work on one of my favorite cars!!
  22. Doubt R2 will tool new kits after their attempt did not wow modelers. And with Revell owners in Germany.....don't see them doing them. Resin is the only way.
