My So Cal buddy always finds some unreal deals at the Tamiya booth........lots of goodies....

It was intended to be a series. We sold them at our hobby shop back then. But the came out just when the card boom was crashing.........model builders alone were not enough to make it viable. The go pretty cheap of anyone would like them.

My vote........ 1970 Javelin Tooling could be made so different kits could be run. Stock, drag and SCCA Trans Am !973 Javelin Same deal as above. The two kits would share lots of tooling.....as the real cars did. These kits were on a companies radar....... But I am a bit bias.......

Pretty common 'sign painter' font back in the day. And I hate to admit I could not recall why I did them........until I found a note to Model King that it was for this car.....but you had to buy two kits as I ran out of room!!!! Thanks for the memory jog!!

Use graphics software that has sizing tools........otherwise it's hit and miss until you get the size you want.

I have both kits and chose the Revell kit after looking over both. Simple problem free build.

Only real high end DC bring any money. I put a bunch of 1/24 die cast out at a yard sale for $3....none sold but I sold 99% of the other stuff. I did give away Hot Wheels to kids ...

With most sellers getting free listings every month this is what happens........Problem is someone may buy it!!! I say he can do what he wants.

Revell did a Elliott Chevy SS....but it was right at the end of Revell USA and can be hard to find.

Salvinos JR OLDS 442 recent kit has a good Mopar chassis under it. Leaf springs, torsion bars...just needs a HEMI motor.

Weather it's Mr Penske or his drivers....they are more accessible than most (bet it's a combo of both) But you are correct....

My son went to the Martinsville NASCAR race Sunday. I normally attend the Martinsville race but was busy. After Brad won he went into the stands. When he saw my son wearing a Brad K T-shirt he came over and talked to him...He took this photo....and needless to say was thrilled. He now has met all the Penske drivers and Mr Penske himself.....fun time!
