Yep...the Revell GS Vette was AM II kits that were in the Concord warehouse when they closed. I got 5 of the unboxed GS Vette kits as payment when I did some work. There was lots of other stuff in the warehouse including a ton of XS Tuning wheel/tire sets....wonder what happened to them??

Is that the kit that had the turbine back in the day??? Always wanted that kit.

And McLaren too!!!!! Word was that after a blow up with McLaren cars inc molds were trashed........someone went dumpster dive!

So the story that Atlantis and Salvino's bought all the Revell tooling that was in ILL was incorrect??? Or was it part right?? Glad to see Revell alive but fear new car tooling for USA aimed kits are done.

I never heard that but could be. I did a fair amount of work for Bob at AM in Charlotte and at the reborn AM II in Concord. My brother in law was art director and design consultant for AM. If you have a AM B-25 kit....my kids packed it!! I don't have any drawings from the GS Vette but do have some from the AM NASCAR Taurus that was made but never sold....that design was all Bob.
