  1. Luc gets it......
  2. Nice work!!! Those roof '4's look like the number decals I put in the Model King Monte Carlo.......correct??
  3. If you get to where you don't like it any longer.....You can send it to me for safe 'storage'!!!
  4. Much improved.....the leaf springs and torsion bars drove me crazy!
  5. Nice clean work....not often seen build!!
  6. If it sold 5K kits....I'd say do it!!!! Coke collectors buy up all things Coke.......plus I bet R2 got a blanket license.....as long as it sells....I see no issue!
  7. I had to be different.......AMF Wedge. This is not mine.....it was blue....but exact same otherwise. It got stolen after I had it about 5 years.....to bad too....it's worth as much or more than the Stingray's.......
  8. Bottom line.........IT SELLS!!!! we should be happy...it supports stuff for us lunatic fringe!!
  9. WOW!!! What's not to like??? Super build of a Wood's car and Ryan!!! Love it!
  10. I saw the cars in person.....it was green on green.....why I like this era......not all the chassis were gray like today is required.
  11. Always like the all green Skoal car!!!
  12. Sadly a few minutes ago on FB it was posted Ms Tim Flock passed just today.....not heard from family but a reliable source that lives in the area still. RIP....
  13. I want the 23 T and Stingray bike...go well with 32 ford....
  14. He sure did......but KFC was only during the DW and Bonnet era and not during the Elliott years. Also Valvoline was not on any Elliott Johnson era car. BUD changed their logo when Bill went to JJ team. I worked in Cup during that era and Dad was Valvoline racing director for many years......I'm that old!! .thx
  15. The Pete 359 is Junior Johnson team too BTW....DW & Bonnet era not Elliott
  16. I WAS a HUGE Elliott fan back in the day. I met him when hr was driving the powder blue Torino at Charlotte Motor Speedway. A new guy driving a Ford was rare so I had to go talk to him and his brothers. Then a neighbor were I lived in Mint Hill NC, landed the job as show car driver for the Elliott's....I can say it was a F-350 and enclosed 24 ft trailer.....be cool to build too. That neighborhood was a great place........NASCAR flagman Harold Kinder lived a few houses over and Ms Tim Flock near me too....I even did some work for her. Talk about NASCAR famous folk!!
  17. You got the look perfect!!! I like it!!! Be cool if R2 would make a new body or two for this kit.
  18. Been dealing with Tom for 25+ years....never and issue, always ships fast. I've met Tom a number of times too....good guy.
  19. Very nice build!!!! I got to work on that project and worked with Sean on the decals too.....
  20. Slixx had a batch of decals that were very prone to this issue. It wasn't wide spread but I recall them saying something about it when it happened. Follow the advise about coating them.....hope it works!
  21. I agree the lower control arm with strut was 100% perfect for a Cup car. Maybe I didn't say it right. Thanks for confirming it was the LeMans car......doubt I have seen under it before!!
  22. What Wood's car is that???? The LeMans Torino??? Tube trailing arms were never legal in Cup. Just like the front almost stock lower control arms with forward strut........the rear would need to be production trailing arms. Hand made trailing arms would not pass......like said before by me and others a 1976 era Torino would have GM type truck trailing arms. If you want 1/25 scale in place of the 1/24 I used (looks fine) use two AMT 90's era Thunderbird chassis. I did this on a Moore Torino I built a few years ago. (two needed to get correct WB)
