Magnum over Cordoba.....but I'd buy either..... Now we are really dreaming!!!

FYI....there are two versions of this kit. The first issue had some issues with fit. The big one was the front suspension. It will build up but is a REAL pain. That was retooled to fit better after the 2nd issue of the kit. There is not a way to tell which is which unfortunately. It is a challenging build...but if you take your time it is well worth it. I lived in Charlotte when AM was there.....and I built a number of their kits for use in photos and trade shows. I need to build one for myself someday... FYI ...this kit was designed by Bob Johnson who designed many of the Monogram kits.

That build kinda the text book definition of 'The 1990's'.......both in scale and 1/1. Don't take this as hijack........but I had to share my 1990's street rod build.....with all the then current trends..... 1933 Caddy....Boss 429 powered....IRS rear. Funny how similar they are in many ways. Gotta love the 90's!!! thx -
WOW!!! Great work on that one. My understanding is Ebbro is kinda a offshoot of Tamiya.....and why they share some tooling. Nice stuff.

Some talk on car movies.

Sadly that much damage to a Europa does not take much!!! A T bone from a bicycle could do it!!! I drove a Europa JPS for a while years ago. Fun car but really cramped. Then I saw a Europa going through a body off restore.....SCARY!!! That chassis left ZERO crash protection for anyone in the car......just some thin fiberglass.......made me think twice about getting in one again!! -
That's the REAL Gone in 60 seconds!!!! Most folks do not know that the VHS is a completely different movie than the DVD release that was 'restored' by HB's wife and issued. There were issues with the sound track, legal and quality wise, so she had it redone start to finish.......which in many peoples opinion, including mine, ruined the film and made it something different than HB had made. Is there a way to post a photo of the box back??? It is claimed that this VHS was a bootleg and done without the HB estate. GREAT catch!!! BTW: HB came to Charlotte to promote the film.....and I saw him at a local gas station. My brush with fame!

WOW WOW .....I worked on the Model King issue of that kit.....and did the decal art work. It is a tough build....that's as good as I have ever seen it.

Bill and Bob have been doing that book for a while.....with updates periodically. Bill is as near an expert on the hobby as I have met.

Which one??? Don't know.......but plan on 3 times longer and at least twice the expected cost. I just finished my 2nd resto of a 1/1 and both held true. Good luck!! (owning two AMC's.....Pacer)

TD also owned a model railroad aftermarket company that sold parts and scenery items for HO scale trains. BTW....best or most famous......don't know...but my favorite. -
IIRC Multi came first and then MPC wanted a little more cash out of molds on hand....Jolly was born!!! I may need to make a repro of it now that you brought it up!!!
