Revell in the USA distribution is still spotty at best. My local hobby shop's wholesaler says he can;t get the new kits from Revell.....how much would they sell if all shops could get the kits???

Dupli-color #1699 gray sealer primer. I use it for many years. I spray lacquer over it....not 100% sure what it is. NAPA has it for a decent price.

I just got mine SAT. Our hobby shop just got them after hunting them down. Kits were made in AUG 2018 and it took this long??? Not good on your ROI.....just happy finally here. A big step up from the first version Revell did years ago. Front end looks 99% correct now!!! Overall well worth the price....my only issue is the 'dents' in the C pillar. Easy fix I know....dab of putty....but then I con't dry the paint in the dehydrator.....slows things down....wish they'd fix that....maybe next time.....and those roll bar supports in the interior......arg......just another fix. Owning a 70 Sportsroof at one time....they gotta go.

Agree 100%.....seen it first hand. I know a few hobby shop owners and a dist......all are having issues getting product....how much could they sell if the 'kinks' were fixed????

Yep...the Revell GS Vette was AM II kits that were in the Concord warehouse when they closed. I got 5 of the unboxed GS Vette kits as payment when I did some work. There was lots of other stuff in the warehouse including a ton of XS Tuning wheel/tire sets....wonder what happened to them??

Is that the kit that had the turbine back in the day??? Always wanted that kit.

And McLaren too!!!!! Word was that after a blow up with McLaren cars inc molds were trashed........someone went dumpster dive!
