There is a small amount of JoHan tooling out there. When my late brother in law was helping run Accurate Miniatures they went and looked at the tooling. What was left was not worth saving and restoring. I can't say what they saw....I don't know all of it.....but I asked about a few favorites.......HH was not among them...or the stock version.
BEER given to a child!!!!! The horrors!! Nice work really......and I grew up in a racing house and wore jackets with beer, cigarettes and crew.....but grew up not wanting nay of them!!!
Great project. IIRC back when this Lincoln was announced the folks at RM figured it was a way to get another kit out of that chassis and give modelers a start on the Lincoln.
Ira Dahm???After not seeing him post on any of the forums I visit....I e-mailed him. He is fine...just busy with life.....IIRC traveling some....but well.
Just know the only part off a Daytona you can use to build a Superbird is the wing center section.....all other parts are different.....My Monogram build....nice kit
Magazines are tough. I just took two pick-up loads to the recycle bin. They were pretty much what you show....and some model train mags. I offered them free here for cost of shipping...no bites. But if you take time to list them on ebay you may get some offers....but to me it was not worth my time. Best of luck to you!!
Niteowl....I never demanded....I stated that after 25 years as a Sr Analyst for one of the world''s top 5 banks I fail to see the logic of a package passing its final destination 3 times. During my career I had to analyze everything from how a company buys items to the buildings they own to how they transport goods. Our due diligence was a big part of weather they got a loan or not. UPS and USPS logic fails me. But thanks for the input!!
Round2 production method is VERY different than J Loyd's.....so do not bank on any of R2 stuff showing up at Ollie's......bet they ran less than 5K on the boats and they will sit on them until they sell. J Loyd must have run 10K on that Civil War gun as every store has 2 cases.......
