  1. I can't hear a Lightfoot song and not think......................
  2. A number of years ago I made a few laser cut kits. The first was the AMT Lil Yeller conversion. You used the Lil Gasser reissue and my laser cut parts. Next I did Cashbox.. I also offered a kit for the Casper Phonebooth MPC kit. It was just the phone booth you added to a T chassis/fender. I'd repro the TTT phone booth but I do not have a working laser machine right now and fixing my commercial machine is around $4000.......so until I get that sorted.......maybe at some time I'll be able to make some phone booth parts. Thx
  3. You are about 30 years to late. In the 1990's our club in Charlotte had a number of national events. The 1990 contest was even covered on a national TV show. We had the major kit manufactures and all the then big aftermarket folks. Sadly the Road Knights no longer have any events and I am not sure they even are around today. After putting on a number of major event the club just died out. AMS is nowgone too... Bob was head of Revell Monogram at the time. Now retired.
  4. Any details??? Being listed as untrue rumor on other sites.....
  5. Per a post elsewhere.....untrue rumor.....we'll have to see...........................
  6. You caught the look PERFECT!!
  7. The kit was always a 2 in 1 kit. 'Stock' or custom version when Jethro hot rodded it. But there is a 3rd version in the box not called out. The half done version......... The kit is also a good basis for other builds. I used the BH kit to build my Haney's truck from Green Acres...
  8. Been rumored for years.......hope it has all the goodies!!! In for a few if it does.
  9. Nice clean work!!! I need to build a model of my 1/1 someday!!! It's yellow right now but may be black soon......wait or not?!?!?
  10. Tours came out better than mine....you made it look as good as anyone could!!!! I was REAL unhappy with the fit, finish and details.....other than that a nice kit!!!!
  11. Nice work on the REAL Elanor!!
  12. WOW.....shocker.......
  13. I LIKE IT!!!!!!
  14. This has really been a cool thread!!!!! This kit may be a stretch of the topic....but follow me!!!!! It is a plastic 1/25 model of a automotive assembly ROBOT! So if I built it......maybe it could help me build models?!?!?!?!?
  15. Hobby Lobby just puts the MSRP on the box. Blame Manufactures for that. I never pay it at Hobby Lobby or elsewhere. The plastic model companies have gone to the same method model trains manufactures in that MSRP is the listed price but street price is often 20 to 40% off that.
  16. NO........Salvinos is a all new tool.......they did clone a few parts......but all their tooling.
  17. If we talk resin........I can do that too........... Penngwen Hobbies IMSA GTO Nissan 300ZX. Only 95 were made. Full disclosure: Penngwen Hobbies was me!!!! So I am bias!!! Thx
  18. I did the decal artwork for the Hudson kit.....and a good friend did the art for the box art. Had a good time working with Moebius and Model King before Pegasus bought Moebius. Good haul
  19. I've never seen any word from Atlantis about the old Revell Mopars......but never said anything about Poison Pinto either!!! The issue with the old Mopar kits was the tires were a very odd size and were missing. So if reissued they'd need a new tire tool or wheels retooled. Either way it will cost Peter money....maybe someday.
  20. Revell is doing some great box art of late. Do not need another Cobra......but a Cobra at LAX....cool!!!
  21. Odd man out....most excited about the modified Poison Pinto!!!!!
  22. One more to add. With all the talk of a big Ford kit going around. Dug this one out and took photo. It's a AMT kit imported to UK by FROG. Plastic is the same but box and crazy decals are all FROG. KINDA a Wood Bros car, they never ran one and the numbers are rainbow with black roof not candy apple red. Paid $80 for it in the 1980's....a lot back then. Still a good deal.
  23. Never looked at that swap.....I did the 71 way back but it was pretty bad, my work not kit fit.
  24. The 70 Mustang coupe roof is very different. A 71-73 Cougar roof works for making a 71-73 Mustang notch back.
