  1. I am in the middle of this exact process right now!! After finishing my 66 Mustang resto I wanted to build a T Bucket. But at over 6 feet tall and prosthetic legs, a regular T Bucket would be hard for me to drive. A C-Cab was suggested by my buddy. WE started working up ideas and I did drawings in scale of a few different designs. We found a design that I liked, big enough to be comfortable for me. So I made a paper model from the drawings to check how it LOOKED> Proportions looked good and it was buildable by me at home. Now I am in the process of building a more detailed plastic version that includes the hardwood frame I have designed. I'll skin the frame just as I will if I keep going forward. I have the chassis specs so I can build it too. If everything continues to work out as planned.....I'd like to start the real car early Summer. The model build is real benefit to me. Thx
  2. Otaki is correct.....there is a rubber bumper Vette in the series too.
  3. FANTASTIC work all around!!!!! Do you sell these??? I have a Taxi from the film....would love one of these!!!!!
  4. If you want strong....try Walthers solvaset. Walthers was the first decal maker for hobbyist and have been making Solvaset since 1934.....I have used it since the 70's myself.
  5. Me too.....but the 40% now rotates through the store. I was there a week ago and maybe 30% of the store was 40 off or more. I buy matt board, wood, paints even jewelry parts I use on my model railroad.
  6. Been covered a lot earlier in this thread the 40% was going away. BUT models have been 40% twice since the coupon went away.....so.....
  7. Hello!

  8. Have any dealings with GMP in Charlotte?? We raced against him in SCCA SS/C many moons ago. Also worked them short time. GMP does all kinds of cars now but was early water cooled VW for many years. Nice fleet!
  9. A sedan was what I was looking for when I found my coupe........like my coupe but those sedans are so cool!!!! Nice work!
  10. I agree.....nice white plastic would be nice........
  11. Bring on a reissue of the ZZR with Coke decals.....I'll buy a bunch!!!
  12. Maybe...no real info....one of the most famous 57 Caddy is that red.....silver paint will fix it for any other color.
  13. You're digging up the obscure of the obscure!!!!
  14. Anyone see the Dodge ad that is right out of 'Talladega Nights'??? Odd they bring that film back after this long.....
  15. Cool spin!!!!
  16. Bought a few years ago I drove it while I finished my 1966 Mustang 2+2. That car is finished now so I will turn my attention to the '46 coupe. I bought her because it had all the 'norms'. Mustang II front, Ford 9 inch rear, and while I am a Ford guy the GM 350/350 combo has been perfect so leave it alone. My plans are to go solid black, steel wheels and add bumpers back. These fat Fords have TONS of room and lots of parts made for them. A FUN car and I don't worry about it as much as when I drive he 66!!!
  17. Fantastic work!
  18. Those colors hurt my eyes!!!! COOL!!
  19. BOTH very nice work!!!! LOVE movie cars!
  20. I've had packages go through the SAME city 4 or 5 times before coming to my home...... Pretty sure it's SOP now.....
  21. I bought two of the last issue and yes......both had crushed tops.....but Revell sent me new bodies after they had a run of them made. Who in China thought pushing down on the kit contents to get the box to close would work???
  22. I'd think they should....those a good little kits! ONLY LN7 I ever saw, die cast of other!
  23. I got the JAG....cool kit and 1/25 scale!!
  24. A injection plastic belly tanker kit was announced by American Satco years ago. The owner announced 3 plastic kits but none were ever cut in steel....just plans and drawings. I have a sales sheet around somewhere...I'll post if I can find.
