  1. Thanks Will. It looks great. Mine languishes in a box. I really need to get back at it. I don't believe my "yellow" is correct either. LOL It is a 50/50 blend of Mr. Color Yellow and Orange.
  2. I am curious Will as to how you dealt with the standard fins that were part of Hasagawa's 962 body. Did you use a Dremel type tool to grind them off? Or was it slice and file smooth? They look just right!
  3. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ https://hlj.com/ https://www.ebay.ca/str/Tokyo-Hobby/
  4. Well done Dan. Outstanding models, all of them. I really like your Big Truck award winner!
  5. Jason, Perry's Resin was Randy Frost's resin company. You will find lots of postings about it. Randy is now the proprietor of Dailey Hobbies in Whitby, ON https://www.daileyhobbies.com/ I am sure he has Facebook presence. I saw Randy at the Group 25 Model Car contest, this past weekend. I am not sure as to how much time he dedicates to Perry's Resin at this point. He would probably be able to answer any questions related to this trans kit.
  6. Dan, big congratulations on the "Bonus Stuff". Hopefully, when pictures get uploaded, I will get a chance to see the related built kits! LOL
  7. I agree with Scott. When I packed kits to sell at a show, my cardboard boxes (2' x 2' x 2') held from 20 to 25 kits. I would consider keeping about 1/3 of what you own. Choose the kits you really like. This might end up occupying one carton. The other 2/3, I would bundle into lots of say 5 kits. You could then sell them as bundles. Keep the contents of a bundle themed, such as all muscle cars. Vary the desirability of the kits within each bundle. Some of high value and some average. If the equipment does not take up a lot of space, I would just hold onto it and take it with you. Hope this helps.
  8. Definitely the G25 show. Undecided about the London show. The London show is the same day as the Ottawa show.
  9. Nice work space Cale. I spy a Rat Roaster. Those were pretty hard to come by here in Canada. Lucky guy! LOL
  10. In somewhat chronological order: Tweed (Belleville), Orangeville, Oakville, Waterloo, Burlington, Toronto, Windsor and finally various other locations throughout Toronto. Since everywhere that I have lived has been within Ontario, I guess that means that I am not that adventurous in nature! LOL
  11. Kurt, I received the same message today. I have only been once and it was certainly an amazing experience. If my traveling partner and I decide to go again, our chances have been narrowed down for us.
  12. Thanks Rob. The concept of additional security I understand. The part about utilizing port 443 as opposed to port 80 goes well beyond my scope of computer knowledge. LOL
  13. I discovered something new here by exploring the link that Rob Hall posted and the link that was included on the rocketfin website as linked by Model Truck Shop. I am always curious about things and tend to pursue them to find out answers for myself. I guess that in hyper text terms https denotes a different address/location than http i need some schooling on this! LOL
  14. Sorry Al, no criticism was intended. I applaud you for the solid recommendation. I have used rocketfin in the past as well. Since the initial posting revolved around Revell, I thought what the heck, check out the Revell link on Rocketfin. That is when I made the discovery and pointed it out. I did not mean to deter you from participating. This ia a great site to follow and participate on. Lots of smilies to indicate my positive intent with this response.
  15. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but the Revell-Monogram link at rocketfin.com does not work. The difference being http:// as compared to https:// I not know enough about hyper text protocol to understand the difference. LOL
  16. Chris I am extremely envious of you for all four of those kits. This is the first time I have EVER seen a kit of the Toyota 87C. Drool...
  17. Dennis, MotoMaster is the house brand name for Canadian Tire products.
  18. I know how difficult it is to polish out blemishes in windshields. I can't imagine having to remove ejector pin marks from a clear body! LOL Please get Tina to post it when she is done. I only have one Tamiya Clear View kit. It is a 1/20 Brabham F-1 kit. It will not be done in the intended form.
  19. Back at you iamsuperdan! It is nice to have regular, clear communication with your trading partner, all through the trade. A great, straight-up individual to trade with. And most definitely, thank you Dan!
  20. I don't have an exact number, but usually it is around 10 kits +/- and it usually happens at the same time each year ... NNL East Saturday! LOL
  21. I decided to buy some products related to airbrush maintenance. I purchased the SharpenAir needle sharpening tool and an Iwata Airbrush Maintenance Tool Kit. The Sharpen Air product is listed as being compatible with most of the major airbrush manufacturers' needles (Paasche, Badger, Iwata, Grex, Harder and Steenbeck, Master, Sata and DeVilbiss) Due to lack of necessity, I have not used the SharpenAir needle sharpening tool yet LOL However, I am sure that sometime in the future it will be most useful. I did use the needle packing screwdriver in the Iwata set. It made removing the old needle packing from an Eclipse gravity feed airbrush easy to do. Putting a new packing in is relatively easy. The tricky part is getting just the right amount of compression on the packing so that there is a slight feel of friction as the needle passes through the packing. For those interested, I purchased these through Maple Airbrush in Edmonton, AB. This is an online e-business. Prices and shipping are very reasonable.
  22. I do too Dann. But you just can't have too many of this Fujimi Dino kit. LOL
  23. This eBay purchase just arrived today. I'm very happy, especially with the price
