  1. I'm glad that I could help. The transformation that takes place from roughed in putty work to finished model is amazing. He must buy that epoxy putty by full shipping carton lots!
  2. Tom, I found a reply he made on his Tamiya Fairlady build video: Жека Ромашку 3 months ago Tell me what putty you work? Yukiya's Scale Modelling Workshop 3 months ago I am using the epoxy putty of Tamiya.
  3. Even though I live in Toronto, driving is not the best way for me to get to the Grand Prix. Public transit is. Have a great day of live cars-on-track. Breathe in the sights, sounds and smells!
  4. Any day watching Indy cars live is a good day. And any day that you might find a Tamiya kit at a bargain price makes it an exceptional day! LOL
  5. Joe, I could not get your link to work. Maybe this one? https://www.smooth-on.com/products/xtc-3d/
  6. I just came across a video from Andy's Hobby Headquarters, which gives a showing of what's in the box for Tamiya's Toyota TS050.
  7. 2nd last generation of good looking Supra's to me. You did a great job of rendering the full size in a model. Full engine detail was a bonus bonus, and looks authentic.
  8. Everything about this model just stands out! Paint work, engine detail, interior are all top-shelf! This T-Bird was a fine example of what a great aero car should look like!
  9. What an amazing paint job. I'm especially impressed with the panel line work and the painting of the trim...really clean.
  10. Both of these Lancia models are great representations of their 1:1 counterparts. There is just something about the Stratos' appearance that says power and aggression.
  11. That's a great choice for an engine. The subtle, non-miles-deep paint job adds to the sleeper effect for this Kharmann Ghia. A model to be proud of!

Jaw-dropping fantastic. Orange/pearl/clear gives a wonderful illusion of a fade paint job on the hood. Kit rims or other?
  13. Greg, I don't think you should blemish a record of not having owned any Tamiya kits. I'll gladly help you out. Just send them my way! LOL
  14. For manufacturers that I have bought from, Tamiya first. Then in no particular order Fujimi, Hasegawa, Aoshima, Revell ( formerly GMBH ), Heller and Protar.
  15. Tower Hobbies --> Late April Would it be too much to hope for that a few might be available at the NNL East?
  16. On the page that Steve linked, you can download a .pdf copy of the intstructions. After clicking on the instructions link, look for 07041. I downloaded a copy. It will be interesting to see if the instructions included in the Motorsport boxing are the same.
  17. As far as thinning goes, this video from Doctor Crank's Lab-RAT-ory might help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5w8KFSUjEl4
  18. Great pictures. Thank you for posting. More than a few interlopers. Porsche, Maserati, Viper, Bentley, and was there also a Jensen?
  19. I went to the Group 25 Model Car Flea Market and picked up a few things. I really shouldn't as my trip to the NNL East is less than 2 months awy. LOL
  20. Gary, some of those bottles must be quite old. It has been a very l-o-n-g time since those larger size Tamiya bottles have been available in stores around here! LOL
  21. I'm probably reading to much into this, but "Win A Ride" indicates to me an RC product. On the up side, RC products are sometime indicators of 1/24 plastic kits that might also get released.
  22. It would be nice if they came out before the NNL East rolls around. I will probably buy 2, as well as a 2nd Beswick car. LOL
  23. I picked up the Beswick kit back in November at the Detroit show. I wish I had gotten a couple. Could the delay of the Dyno Don version be a result of Moebius now being in Pegasus' hands?
  24. Not trying to be smart aleck, but does not the pinned topic "Buying my first airbrush Questions", serve the same purpose. I think the thing that annoys me the most, is the number of people who sign-on to the form, ask a question/opinion, and are never heard from again. LOL
  25. Gregg has made it more than clear as to his position on this. No selling on the board. Trading section works just fine.
