  1. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but the Revell-Monogram link at rocketfin.com does not work. The difference being http:// as compared to https:// I not know enough about hyper text protocol to understand the difference. LOL
  2. Chris I am extremely envious of you for all four of those kits. This is the first time I have EVER seen a kit of the Toyota 87C. Drool...
  3. Dennis, MotoMaster is the house brand name for Canadian Tire products.
  4. I know how difficult it is to polish out blemishes in windshields. I can't imagine having to remove ejector pin marks from a clear body! LOL Please get Tina to post it when she is done. I only have one Tamiya Clear View kit. It is a 1/20 Brabham F-1 kit. It will not be done in the intended form.
  5. Back at you iamsuperdan! It is nice to have regular, clear communication with your trading partner, all through the trade. A great, straight-up individual to trade with. And most definitely, thank you Dan!
  6. I don't have an exact number, but usually it is around 10 kits +/- and it usually happens at the same time each year ... NNL East Saturday! LOL
  7. I decided to buy some products related to airbrush maintenance. I purchased the SharpenAir needle sharpening tool and an Iwata Airbrush Maintenance Tool Kit. The Sharpen Air product is listed as being compatible with most of the major airbrush manufacturers' needles (Paasche, Badger, Iwata, Grex, Harder and Steenbeck, Master, Sata and DeVilbiss) Due to lack of necessity, I have not used the SharpenAir needle sharpening tool yet LOL However, I am sure that sometime in the future it will be most useful. I did use the needle packing screwdriver in the Iwata set. It made removing the old needle packing from an Eclipse gravity feed airbrush easy to do. Putting a new packing in is relatively easy. The tricky part is getting just the right amount of compression on the packing so that there is a slight feel of friction as the needle passes through the packing. For those interested, I purchased these through Maple Airbrush in Edmonton, AB. This is an online e-business. Prices and shipping are very reasonable.
  8. I do too Dann. But you just can't have too many of this Fujimi Dino kit. LOL
  9. This eBay purchase just arrived today. I'm very happy, especially with the price
  10. An amazingly realistic rendition of this Daytona winner. I hope this build process was as rewarding for you as it was for those of us lucky enough to follw along.
  11. Ziya, all I can think of is W-O-W! A beautifully done 918.
  12. A fantastic job on Mazda's "giant killer". i especially like the fact that all colour was painted. May I ask whose paint did you use? Zero, Gravity, Tamiya, or other? The colours look spot on!
  13. I really like the way this Porsche turned out. Well done Andre.
  14. Beautiful paint on the body and in the engine compartment. Flawless windshield. I always seem to get fingerprints on mine. LOL
  15. Great result on the Fireball car. You are off to a great start. Thoughts on how to proceed with future builds and a positive attitude are both great assets for your future modelling endeavors.
  16. Mike , is the compressor that you bought? If so the on/off psi values are factory set. The pressure regulator/water trap is on the left in the picture. You lift the knob on the top and then turn it to either increase or decrease your pressure. Do this while your airbrush is attached, and the compressor is on, and you have the trigger depressed. This will give you a more accurate reading of the psi that you are spraying at. Hope this explanation is clear and makes sense.
  17. You are correct. The Lancia 037 Rally 1983 Sanremo Rally has full engine detail. The Lancia Delta HF Intergrale 16V '91 1000 Lakes Rally only has the bottom portion of the engine molded into the chassis plate.
  18. Quentin, I realize that nobody wants to have to buy an additional product to make painting possible. Tamiya has a product called Paint Retarder (Acrylic). It come in a glass bottle the same as their Extra Thin Cement. The cap is turquoise in colour. It is an additive which slows down the drying time. It allows the paint to self level. Tamiya acrylics are great when airbrushing, but somewhat problematic when brush painted. Decant a small amount of paint to a separate container, and then ad a drop or two of the paint retarder. Hopefully this will help. Thinking of Snake's response, acrylic paint retarder could help with most craft acrylic paints. It may not even be necessary to buy Tamiya's product. Many art supply brands have their own acrylic paint retarder.
  19. TS-16, Yellow, is the closest to Lemon Yellow. TS-34, Camel Yellow, is much more of an orange-yellow. The Renault colour that you are looking for is definitely yellow, as opposed to orange-yellow.
  20. Will they be available at the NNL East?
  21. As always Adam, this reviews is informative, and even better humorous! Thanks for great start-of-the-day read!
  22. That was an obvious oversight on my part. Here you go ... https://www.splash-paints.com/ I have not sprayed them yet. I am waiting for a change to warmer weather in my area
  23. Samuel, that is great information concerning how to achieve a semi-gloss finish. I had been thinking about that very issue! LOL
