  1. I truly stunning model and outstanding photography
  2. Great photos of a very nice build.
  3. Thanks for posting this great news. I am definitely going to get one of these campers and the Kombi when it comes out even though I have unbuilt Revell and Hasegawa 21 Windows in my stash. I have always wanted to build a model of the 65 Sunroof that I had from 72 to 76 which I camperized and got in very good mechanical condition but never got the exterior how I wanted it. My 65 was kind of a rarity in that it was not a Microbus but had a sunroof and also a pass through forward bulkhead.
  4. It is fun to see the two Munster-mobiles together. Both look very well built. I remember getting a kick out of seeing them when they first appeared on the TV show.
  5. This may look better than the real thing. Well done.
  6. It looks good from my vantage point. Is this the Tamiya or Revell version?
  7. Looks good as Phaeton.
  8. A couple of cool looking El Caminos. The white one is a very close replica of the real thing. I am intrigued as to where and how much the beds were shortened on both the model and the 1/1.
  9. I did not know what I was going to see when I opened your post but I was greeted with a surprisingly gorgeous model. Well built.
  10. I saw a brand new 69 Boss 429 at Mall display. Have always wanted to build a model of one. By the way the 70 Boss 429 did not have the side scoops. It has always been my plan to use the Revell 70 429 to which I would add side scoops and front and rear ends from a 69.
  11. WOW - When you are finished with this I am sure you could could qualify as Chief Engineer at Superformance building 1/1 Cobras.
  12. Very well done restoration. Could be out of a sales brochure.
  13. Nice to see this very sharp model of such an historically important car which I feel contributed to the revival of hot rodding
  14. Your Camaro looks fantastic. Well built. Obviously a very good kit so I congratulate the old AMT for the original and Round-2 for this version.
  15. Saw this Mazda Cosmo at a car gathering this morning. Had never seen one in the flesh before. On the way to the event I saw a Tesla Roadster drive by which I had only seen in photos before today
  16. Excellent C7R. You have really enhanced the build with the after market parts, modifications you made and careful construction. Makes me realize how time has flown by. I became captivated by the C5R when it first started racing over 20 years ago. I could not resist building a model of it even before the kit was available. My intention was to build a more accurate version once the kit became available enhanced with after market parts I acquired from Scalemotorsports and Historic Racing Miniatures but other projects have got in the way and the C5R was superseded by the C6R and C7R. I am now captivated by the C8 and C8R but unfortunately no kits are yet available.
  17. Just came across this. I really like how it turned out with the Wobblies and Donnington wind screens. It is a very nice kit for starters and you took it to another demension.
  18. Thanks Tim - I really appreciate your comments. I am always surprised when I can find the part I need but in many cases it is the last one I have of that particular part. Although I end up with a bunch of incomplete kits, most of them I would never get around to building anyways.
  19. Thanks Alan - I was really pleased with how well and quickly it came together.
  20. Totally agree !!
  21. Thanks Steve - Could not agree more with - "the builds with a personal connection and story are the best". Presenting a model to someone who has a connection to the build is always a special moment.
  22. Great to see the beautiful job you did building this which I always regret never having this kit and cannot recall when I last saw one built.
  23. Thanks Carl Thanks Bob
  24. Thanks Carl Thanks Lee Thanks Bernard. I thinned the underneath of the back edge of the hood, the grill shell required some trimming at the bottom and I reduced the heigth of the hood sides about below the louvers Thanks Steve Thanks Roger - I was really pleased to find the needed parts in other kits. Very glad I had them in my stash.
