  1. Really like the model and the story as I was not aware that there were Toronado hill climb race cars. I thought for a longtime they would be good racing up hill until I was told the slope of the hill shifts the weight of the car towards the rear.
  2. Good to see your production for 2020. I especially like the photo of the pickups and the trees.
  3. Thanks everybody I really appreciate your comments and seeing your models. Have a great 2021.
  4. Some cool builds. Looking forward to seeing the completions, especially the Falcon
  5. WOW What a model car building factory you have there. You may have set a record for builds in one year. Keep it up.
  6. Quality over quantity. Keep up the great work in 2021
  7. Great looking truck Russ. Makes me want to think about building mine.
  8. Only two but both very well done models. May we see many more in 2021.
  9. Great way to end the year. Very good looking Monte Carlo
  10. Very creative and interesting models. I will be curious to see what you build in 2021
  11. Extremely well built. It is a beauty.
  12. Thanks Steve - It was a great series while it lasted Thanks Misha - I had already made up the decals in 1/18 scale for a diecast I did for the original driver so it was just a matter of scaling them down in the Testor's program and printing them up. There wee a couple of places I used white vinyl underneath cause I did not have any white decal paper. Happy New Year to you and see you on Zoom.

  14. For my last completion of 2020 I built this replica of a 1987 Players GM Challenge Series car. This car was driven by Laurie Craig who twenty years earlier raced the first Z-28 Camaro delivered in Canada. 15. I am overwhelmed by the number of fantastic models that were built in 2020 and posted on this forum which is one positive thing that came out of this otherwise forgettable year. I built a record setting for me eleven model cars, the last of which I just finished with a few hours to spare in 2020 so in reverse order here they are. Replica of a 1987 Players GM Challenge Series Camaro I call this a Topolino Cobra 1970 Chaparral Camaro Trans Am Replica of the 1/1 Model A a friend is building Chopped, sectioned, channeled '39 Ford Convertible Revell 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe 1948 Ford Woodie 1964 Ford Thunderbolt Pro-Touring My attempt at converting a Scarab into a Lotus 23B A Secret Santa kit that had been previously started with body paint by another car modeller Another Secret Santa kit built as a replica of the James Dean Rebel without a Cause movie car

  17. I was hoping mine would arrive before the end of the year and it just did at 12:45 PM PST December 31, 2020 in Oak Bay British Columbia Canada Happy New Year to everyone associated with Model Cars magazine and I wish you all the best for a successful and healthy 2021
  18. Thanks Steve - I assembled everything today so all that is left is the livery which will go on tomorrow - New Years Eve for my eleventh completion for 2020. Hope to get it Under Glass before 2021. If I was to do another Camaro Players Challenge car I use either the AMT '83 or the Revell 1/24 with parts from the parts from the Revell 1/24 1990 Firebird. Happy New Year
  19. Just came across this post as I try to finish an 87 Camaro before the end of the year. Your model is fabulous especially the engine compartment detail.
  20. Very well built. If this kit were to be reissued it should come like this out of the box.
  21. Very attractive. Like your colour choice. The headlight surrounds and SS trim really enhance the model.
  22. Fabulous fleet of hot rods for 2020. I will be looking forward to your builds of 2021.

    My 2020

Great builds. I really like your theme style which all your models express to some degree.
  24. Excellent build with maybe the most striking livery of the '66 GT-40's. I especially like the look of the side window vents propped open.
  25. Beautiful Porsche model. I still have not tackled an enthusiast kit but your model might encourage me to do so.
