  1. A very cool concept, and well done! David G.
  2. WOW! It looks great. It also kind of looks like a Rolls. Either way, excellent work! David G.
  3. That's a very useful tutorial, thanks for the link. I'll also take a closer look at the kit for those throwbacks you mentioned. David G.
  4. OK... That's just awesome! David G.
  5. That's just cool! Great job David G.
  6. Beautiful work, particularly on the wood. David G.
  7. Thanks for the tip. I'll can refine my research to lean more toward the Millers. Hey, maybe we can turn this thread into the Ecto-1(A) CBP thread! David G.
  8. I picked up my two yesterday and I'm trying to decide if I want to build the first one as an ambulance or a hearse. A hearse would require an extensive modification of the rear area of the interior. An ambulance would require fewer interior mods, but I'd have to scratch-build the emergency lights. Either way, what fun! David G.

Nice build, great paint and color choice! David G.
  10. Your choice of paint is perfect! Though the big-head cartoon guy scares me a little. David G
  11. Paint, detail, all-around excellent work! David G.
  12. Nice color combination, paintwork looks great too! David G.
  13. I ordered two of these as well. They came in yesterday and I stop to pick them up on my way home from work today. I plan to build one as it was intended and the other I plan to convert (back?) into a hearse. Maybe I'll get a third one to build as an ambulance. Either way, looking at the interior tub, it seems that I'll have to make some modifications to build the hearse; the ambulance would be easier. Thanks for the pics and have fun! David G.
  14. I work for a funeral home\cemetery combination. As you might imagine, it is quite a busy weekend for us. I'll be working on the grounds, helping people find the location of their loved ones resting in our cemetery. In addition to that, I'll be helping set up for our 93rd annual Memorial Day Service at 9:00 AM on Monday. David G.
  15. It looks like an old panther that's ready to pounce. Beautiful work! David G.
  16. That depends where you work. As a funeral director, I work with a lot of detail-oriented people who would be more drawn to a highly detailed replica than a cartoony looking toy. I have an appreciation for both styles, but, as it's been said, preference depends on the builder and the audience. David G.
  17. Very cool idea and very well done. David G.
  18. That's about as cool as it gets. Great color combination. David G.
  19. That is strange to say the least. It's a well done build, but strange. David G.
  20. Beautiful Work! Everything about it is perfect! David G.
  21. I'm glad to see this one back in the light of day. Very clever solution for the tail lights! David G.
  22. An excellent idea, well accomplished! David G.
