  2. It's looking like an unlimited build... I have some ideas brewing already. Oh, wait, my 2012 entry is still on the bench.
  3. HERE http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?GenreCode2=Aut&DisplayMode=images&Dis=2&Sort=std&qid=UL8CFOIS2E&z=GenreCode2|MacroType2|Scale2&set=1&MacroType2=tirwhe&Scale2=24&SeriesID2=2716 A lot are OOS but you can search this site, Hobby Search, and eBay for the aoshima wheel sets.
  4. I like the Mirage version http://www.monzamirage.com/ I little info on them.
  5. GT5 = Gran Turismo 5. It's a video game.
  6. Such a neat little car. I wish they were available here, too. Who knows - probably wouldn't have predicted Fiat 500s running rampant five years ago! Great little model. I like the paint and it looks smooth and shiny. Nice work.
  7. Cool old truck. Let's see...start with the front end from Hasegawa Bluebird, engine modified from a Fujimi Datsun 6... The L-16 is a classic engine,too...92 hp was pretty good for a little truck in 1971! My 1984 22R only put out 97.
  8. Cool - you might still be able to get that decal to sit down with some micro sol if it isn't cleared over.
  9. Wow! I watched the video - a lot of work on this model. It turned out great. I like the hardtop style (no pillar between the doors) too - always thought that was a cool feature on four door cars. Awesome work.
  10. I can sit and look at that model for awhile, admiring the work so far. Beautiful as is, can't wait to see it progress. I like the custom work that is subtle but very different from the original - the '49 Cadillac bumper and grill look very cool here.
  11. HERE for a great chart with basic conversion already done.
  12. There are some 1:18ish "Poor man's Ferraris" too, friction toys... There are a few Fiats I would like to see in model form, the Dino would be a cool one.
  13. Interesting idea. I am sure I could find an awful kit. If somebody can make this into something cool, I would vote for it: I get sick just looking at that kit.
  14. All great. The Hudson convertible is simply gorgeous. Great photography too.
  15. Great variety and great quality. Nice, clean building. I like the GTO - clean building and good photography make it look like a full size car.
  16. Cool tutorial. I think it looks pretty cool - especially the driver's side. Thanks for taking the pictures and posting.
  17. I like that color and it looks very smooth. Nice work.
  18. Turned out great. Nice work. Too bad you can't show more of the interior work you did - the conversion turned out very clean and looked great.
  19. Great looking team! Nice years worth of modeling.
  20. Nice mix of stuff! Cool models, all of them. I like the contrasting "shinies" mixed in with all that decay.
  21. Thanks for the comments. The wheels are 1:16 Toyota 2000GT wheels cast from an old otaki kit - they will replace the spokes on the Fujimi 1:16 kit.
  22. I like them all. That Simca is really cool, though. Four door gasser, excellent.
  23. I like the overall theme - nice paint choice, engine is really cool, and the decals. I would like to see it in person to look at it from different angles - it's hard to see it all in perspective with the fenders on the front and no fenders on the rear. Original design on the front fenders makes it unusual and a nice deviation from the normal. Only thing I could see as improvement is maybe section the front grill area so it's not so tall. It could be perspective from the angle of the pictures too. I like the low roll bar - I can see the driver sitting low cruising by. Great job.
  24. Beautiful paint! Nice ride height too. Great model.
