  1. Hanjo, do you have the Paul Koo CD for this kit? It is well worth the money to help avoid all the pitfalls these kits are known for. It is available here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/320852078963?hash=item4ab4463173:g:RtkAAOSwM6Vcn5yK&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwNn%2BUHvav9SLeRKrsVslKR55CvEuXQVkwEFdNPAbztUfqUcz%2F4uEaQsQoQJN1BbTibDHfnfuzIHBvpyTm2U5r2zTqlRyJR1IGC%2BwqL%2FP1VDZdVHQBn7O7vjMeBBjB4bImpciU56Xz24KHWHv3xHZII2njxb1BUvzekpTbM2JIFYJ39V3Wa5fnBKhcdvJk7nzYcudh6mAjb%2B6CL42IrK0n%2BVvwNcXJAp3U6k5s%2FMb4f6vACyd7NODo7NO9jlrxvjW0A%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR9KBr46iYg
  2. She's a winner! Can you elaborate on the fit issues you had?
  3. Icemancollections on eBay has some very nice figures and accessories. Also his website: https://icemancollections.com. However, it looks like he is closed due to a family emergency.
  4. My first thought was that the bond between the CF and the titanium might have failed. Will be interesting to see.
  5. This looks fantastic to me. I really like the clear hood, it adds so much interest to the model.
  6. I love this kind of build. You killed it!
  7. Ok, we don't have that kind of thing routinely! My garbage can did get knocked over the other night though. ?
  8. Welcome! Do you have a link to your channel?
  9. What region are you in Miles? I'm in central Texas and this time of year we routinely have storms that feel as if the house is going down.
  10. I agree with this to a point. We've been mollycoddled and safetied ad nauseam by our government. Even to the point of ridiculousness. A lot of that is brought on by our litigious society trying to second guess the next numbskull vying for the Darwin Award. Have you ever tried to pour gasoline out of one of the myriad stupidly designed "safety cans" without spilling it all over the place? Others may disagree, but I think there is a point at which regulations do hinder innovation, and even just living a normal life. This might be what Rush was trying to get at in his comments, but I think his choice to risk others lives to save a few bucks was criminally negligent. I can think of at least one industry that recently killed several hundred people by trying to avoid a lengthy certification process.
  11. I would guess so. It certainly sticks to everything else. Although it cures pretty hard and might be difficult to sand without damaging the styrene.
  12. Besides the green, I have found a few blue ones online, as well as a white racing version. They do seem to have a rather limited color palette!
  13. This looks like it's straight out of the pages of a very high end automobile magazine. Without your hand for scale, I'd be hard pressed to tell it from real 1:1.
  14. I love this! I like that you chose British Racing Green, and I love that you are actually painting this! I have a few of these as well in various states, but one common theme on all I have found is no paint and no glue applied. You rarely find these properly built and painted. Following with much interest!
  15. I had several of my models on a shelf coated with enamel paint. The paint had been on the shelf a long time. Guess what sticks firmly to model car tires?
  16. Dang fine paint job!
  17. This is going to be cool! I built one or two of these about 30 years ago. Great subject!
  18. Man, diecast has come a long way!
  19. Slickery!
  20. Love it! Time to go to the tire shop!
  21. Thank you, Carl. I am hugely tempted to tear it open just to look at the parts - a struggle I go through every time I get a new kit.
  22. Recent acquisitions, continuing my obsession with large scale bikes. The Grim Reaper is factory sealed. The Trike is unstarted, but unfortunately missing the decals. The Yamaha was advertised as new but the two halves of the frame are glued. It was a decent job so I decided to let it go. I was able to "repair" the Yamaha's caved in box to a decent condition by using a damp rag and a clothes iron from the inside.
  23. Somehow this ended up in under glass. My bad. Can an Admin please move to WIP or something more appropriate?
  24. Just mowing the grass gives me the same jitters.
