Love it! Hudsons are a bit of an acquired taste for sure, but these are really nice kits of an under-represented topic when it comes to model cars. I wish there were more oddballs like LaSalle, Nash, etc also in plastic. I like where you're going with this.

Noticed Ace-Garageguy hasn't been on site since 7/22

The comments I'm referring to are the ones that are obviously aimed at other members, trying to get an emotional response. I haven't particularly noticed Bill doing anything of the sort. I appreciate his rather cynical sense of humor and share many of his sentiments, but I'm interested in the site remaining a neutral zone, if you will. -
Same here. We've been there twice and are hopefully planning a third trip. It truly was a paradise.

Just wanted to say I also have received a kit from Mark and the goodie bag was amazing. So much so that I turned around and bought another kit...well, kits...from him. Great marketing technique, Mark!

Love it! This is one of those bodies that I've never been fond of but you made me a believer! I'd definitely drive that.

Really hot! I'd drive it...till it rained anyway. ?

Ugh. Here we go again. Could we all just not use the model car forum to air grievances or make snide comments about each other or the world in general? These types of posts are what drive me away from forums as a whole. -
Man I missed the build thread on this until now. What a great looking model of a real world car. I'd drive it!

That grill reminds me of a 37 Lincoln Zephyr.

Sexy! The front wheels turning add so much realism.

That is really...amazing. Talk about driving a billboard in a high wind. That would push some air!

MPC's "Racers Wedge" build

You're making this old kit look mighty fine! -
That's very clever and most likely lifts out of the way to get to the real motor underneath. There is a wingnut visible in a couple of pictures that suggests a lifting panel. Would love to see the rest of the vehicle!

It looks like you have the necessary skills to pull it off. Nice weathering! -
I haven't had any cable or network tv for a decade or more. I was fed up with the relentless adult diaper and scooter commercials and the stupid news clones. I find more than I care to watch on streaming channels. When I go to my in-laws house I usually have to leave the room because they just use rabbit ears which pull in only bottom feeder tv stations. Oh wait - this is a "what pleased you today?" thread. It pleased me that I'm not seeing the above noted commercials and news broadcasts.

Yes, and actually I really like cars in primer. A primered car is a blank template. The possibilities are endless. Once you paint a car it defines that car and some folks will like it, and others, not so much. I used to go to the John Deere dealer and buy Blitz Black tractor paint for my cars. (Technically not hot rod primer but it had the look.)

I'm subscribed! I have this kit as well. Nice paint.

Just....wow!

I didn't even know they were in Texas, but then I live in the sticks. All four of those locations are in striking distance for me. Closest is Stephenville and Killeen. We do go to Waco occasionally and now I have one more reason to go to Abilene once in awhile.

Nope! It's great. But - build another for yourself.

I have no knowlage on posting photos.
redscampi replied to Craig Irwin's topic in How To Use This Board
I upload the photos from my phone or camera to my computer to icloud or Google photos. I have that set to do it automatically. Then I download the photos to my desktop and drag them to the site the way that has been described above. -
Ahhh, thanks very much for the information on this!

Nicely executed. It gives me ideas!
