  1. Joseph is a great guy to work with. I hope his recovery goes well.
  2. I agree, the 17" would be too much. I have some of Joseph's other stuff and it is really, really good.
  3. That is a thought, too. If Casey makes these, maybe he'll start providing them in his store.
  4. Wow! That's pretty awesome. I'm not sure what tire I'd use, I need to dig around a bit. I think that 16" wheel would be perfect.
  5. Joseph is a great guy to work with. I've certainly been impressed with his stuff.
  6. I like your idea. Couldn't you just paint all of the non-body parts to accomplish what you're trying to do?
  7. I was gifted this kit for Christmas and recently came across this thread. Really great work in tackling the side trim - have you made any additional progress?
  8. Decided to try to fix the paint. But ultimately ended up opening another kit and robbing the body from it (I'll use the one I'm stripping later). Now on to some light polishing, trim paint, and decals. I hope.
  9. Nice score. A friend of mine took the very tip of a finger off in high school with one of these. ?
  10. Thank you all for the help in identifying a wheel that might be passable. I've put a post in the Wanted section for the wheels from the Blazer kit. Hopefully, someone will have a set because they used the other wheels in their kit or something....
  11. I never knew that kit existed. Probably unobtainable ...
  12. Thanks! Supposedly they are 235/75/15. But, I bet those wheels could be made to work ... if I could find a set.
  13. Can you guys think of any aftermarket or kit availability for these wheels? Or something very similar?
  14. I really like that Pearl White.
  15. Debating on whether to fix the chip under the windshield, repaint the entire cab, or just roll with it. For this particular build, I don't want to do anything very weathered, so I guess I need to fix the chip somehow ...
  16. Bummer. I was just wondering. I've always been partial to these trucks. Of all the trucks that have been in the family between all of us - I think the first generation S-10 remains my favorite.
  17. Agreed - you going to cast these and make them available for the rest of us ?
  18. Why did you sell it, if I can ask? Thank you. The 3-n-1 kit is the one to have if you can find it. I sold one a little while back and wish that I'd kept it. I never understood the 1/20 scale kits - they don't fit well with anything in the cabinet. Have you built that kit? Just wondering how it builds up...
  19. Nearing the scary part - final assembly... And then I realized - I chipped the paint just under the windshield, behind the cowl. ARGHH!!! Should I repaint the cab? The paint is a tad thin on the roof. Of course, if I repaint, there is the (very high) probability that it will look worse once I'm done with it. ?
  20. That is epic. I love these sorts of builds. Very nice.
  21. I'm just going to say it again I think people would buy a 1st generation S10/S15 extended cab transkit. And they'd buy a long bed transkit.
  22. Wow! Just wow! This is epic craftmanship! *gets popcorn, pulls up chair*
