  1. Very nice! One of my favorites Have you seen the recently released Hasegawa first generation cars? I have a '85 that is a clone of my first car.
  2. Wow! I really love what you've done here.
  3. Man, that brings back memories. Nice job on an often overlooked kit. My girlfriend in college had a base model, and later one of my friends had a GT. They were fun cars. Back then, I liked to say that they were really Mazdas.
  4. I do like the decals, but not for the Baja. To me, the Baja is a pretty distinct S-10. But... since you've added the flairs, and presumably some (even) meatier tires, those decals may look pretty cool. Where did you source those decals? edit that - I see now I'm of the opinion of builds that - if you like it, then it's perfect.
  5. I'll be looking forward to seeing that! (I really need to get back to my Marlboro Syclone!)
  6. Awesomeness! Going to do the Farmboat, too?
  7. Cool! I was just looking at some of his stuff - really liking the Chevy S-10 parts. George - how does one find your site or listings or however you market products?
  8. I managed to pick up the initial release of the new Hasegawa kit, and the race version - both look great! And I do hope there will be a LHD version shortly. It looks like another version is already being prepared for release - the SA22C "Late Type Turbo GT". I think this was a Japanese and Australia version of the car, but I'm not sure. I own a base model, US spec, 1985 (the "FB") - a clone of my first car really - so I'm looking forward to any releases they do with this mold. Loving the GSL-SE wheels on this next release! Holding my breath for the FB (series 3, later face-lifted version) dashboard and rear marker lights... Here's the Hobby Link Japan link, I'm sure you can find it on some of the other sites, too. https://www.hlj.com/1-24-scale-mazda-savannah-rx-7-sa22c-late-type-turbo-gt-hsghc52
  9. Beautiful work. Late to the party - How does one get a copy of this corrected Mustang body?
  10. That is slick!
  11. Some cool stuff in this thread!
  12. Thanks, Andrew! Wheels arrived today - now I have more choices! (meaning - what should I do?) I'm still moving kind of slow on this one. I am trying to finish a 1/72 Mustang for a local contest (I shouldn't have entered, but I'm sooo close). Then, it's back to the Syclone!
  13. Thank you. I'm moving kind of slow. I have a couple of other projects that I'm working on for a local club contest. As always, too many irons in the fire. Thank you!
  14. "Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?" First shot of Tamiya pink primer. And boy-oh-boy, just look at those issues! I did shoot a coat of red over this pink primer as a test (spoon) and the pink really brightens the red.
  15. Little update. Not as much bench time as I'd like lately ... I think the steering wheel from the Revell Oldsmobile 442/FE3-X will work just fine. Close enough for my purposes ... I need to fine-tune the body cladding some, but I think I'm getting there. I'm planning to leave the wheels as-is.
  16. So very cool. That video was well worth watching. Amazing work! One more question - do you have the Silhouette Portrait 1, 2, or 3?
  17. Really creative. I have a question on the Cricut you use .... Can you cut Frisket film to size and run that through the machine to make masks; or do you have to use their products only? Actually, I have a second question - would it be possible to score sheet plastic, if the plastic is too thick to cut, with the Cricut machine? I'm thinking it could be useful for getting consistently shaped panels to build something like a camper shell. Again, really superb work!
  18. I would never have expected these seats to be in that kit, but I think you're right.
