  1. AMT 68 Camaro Z28 with the engine from the Revell 68 vette.
  2. AMT 68 Shelby GT500 merged with a Revell 68 Mustang GT chassis, running gear, and interior.
  3. I’ve purchased most of the “holy grail “ kits I built as a kid. The one that keeps escaping me is the Monogram 70 Malibu Street Machine. I either find it priced higher than I’m willing to pay or built and missing the important parts (grille, hood with scoop, front airdam and rear spoiler and the wheels). Maybe I’ll find it someday.
  4. You…. have my attention ?
  5. Every time I go to my workbench. I spend more time cleaning up afterwards than I do working on something. ?
  6. I’d just like to find ONE of the Early Iron series pickups that was complete and didn’t cost a small fortune!! And oddly enough the only 2 things I want that particular kit for is the hood scoop and the wheels/tires ?‍♂️
  7. Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  8. California… Land of Fruits and Nuts ??
  9. Shoestring from all left shoes new batteries from smoke detectors and replace with used batteries

    Superbird

    love Love LOVE it!!
  11. Stack injected big block with a straight axle front end. That would make a mean looking gasser! ?
  12. The headlight area on both sides will need some work to make it look acceptable. The entire front subframe(suspension, engine, trans, and radiator) needs to be installed last! Otherwise you’ll need therapy trying to install it! ?? But it does build up nice

    Moving Parts

That’s pretty cool!! To the best of my knowledge (please correct me if I’m wrong) no Mopar big blocks from early 60s -up had the oil filter located at driver side rear of block due to the starter being located there.
  14. Amazing detail and realism! The pics look real!! ?
  15. Absolutely amazing work on this one!!! I built one for my wife a few years ago and I agree, it does look better without the out of place front end seam.
  16. Yep! DEFINITELY AMT 55 Chevy ??
  17. Car phone or Rat Rod
  18. Invisible car?
  19. AMT 55 Chevy wheels unpainted
  20. The wheels look like the ones in the AMT 55 Chevy. They come bare plastic unplated and need to be painted, as these look to be. The tires appear to be from older Monogram kits.
  21. It’s actually a factory Jeep color called Rescue Green. I had a spray can of it mixed up at my local auto body supply shop. Kinda pricey at $25 but it lasts for a while.
  22. At last count ,95 but that will grow as long as model companies keep making new kits ??
  23. Oops, sorry didn’t see the “taller than stock” part
  24. Fireball Modelworks. Best in the biz, hands down!
  25. I used to use one of these for storing small parts like carbs, intakes and valve covers. Would store wheel/tire combos in the larger drawers
