I can get everything I need or want pertaining to car modeling right here in the United States, so those exorbitant shipping fees have nothing to do with me.
If the manufactures would STOP producing model car kits right now, I'd be a very "happy camper" as I have plenty on hand to build, especially at the rate I'm going. Besides I'm tired of tying up ca$h for plastic.
Orange peel is caused by spraying too far away from the subject. Hold the nozzle closer to the body and make your pass faster and it should help a lot. I usually wait 24 hours before applying my clear coats and then a week or so before wet sanding. I use lacquer paints.
Lookin' good Alan as I have a '65 AWB Coronet kit from MCW that I've started and I need to get back to that project someday soon. I just love dem Mopars!
Your Charger is comin' along real nice John, however the seats are way too shiny as I've owned 2 B-Bodied Mopars myself, both with black interiors. I just love dem Mopars!
I have a few of MCW's resin kits and they look alright in my book. I have one started and should get off my butt and this keyboard and finish it. I would buy resin cars from MCW again.
Hmmm, that sounds good as I'll be usin' one on my current build, and hopefully my order will arrive this week or next. I'm really not in any hurry though.
