  1. Have you tried smallblockdodgeresins?
  2. I usually leave the wiper on the drivers side, in case the car is caught in a "downpour" while in the staging lanes.
  3. I got a lot done this morning, like cleaning the gutters & downspouts, emptying and putting away the garden hose, removing my grille from the deck and putting it in storage, bringin' in all the liquids from the garage, etc. Yep, I'm getting ready for the upcoming winter as it's comin' whether I like it or not. I may have to rake leaves one more time and Home Depot was out of winter fertilizer, so not this fall as I was "late to the dance."
  4. Congrats, and good luck.
  5. I've always used the 3M "garden variety" tape with no problems what so ever.
  6. Getting a pay raise? Aren't you in the union, or no?
  7. Lookin' good so far Steve, and you do know that's a '66 body right?
  8. Lookin' forward to the release of Galaxie's '48 Chevy Coupe. The word I got this past Friday night is that it's due to be on the shelves this winter. Sorry that I can't get a more definite date at this time.
  9. While I was at the newsstand last night, I didn't see any Overkill or Elapsed Times magazines on the rack. They do have a rather large selection, and all that interested me was the latest issue of Mopar Collector's Guide. I will be goin' back there next month, and the new issue of Gasser Wars should be out as well.
  10. I pulled out the snow thrower today, put some fuel in it and it started with one pull. I guess it's ready, I'm not.
  11. Another good time at the AMG meeting tonight, as we had our yearly auction which is always fun and a lot of laughs.
  12. Have you checked with Competition Resins or Speed City Resins?
  13. You could always send them to me, and that way free up the space that you need.
  14. I'll be goin' to a rather large newsstand tomorrow with LOTs of mags on the rack, and I'll be on the lookout for the Road Kill and Elapsed Times issues.
  15. Is he related at all to Ronald Rudd?
  16. I know Harry, as I'm a Chicago "native." However where I'm at now they fail to see the humor in that statement.
  17. Great die-cast "Mints" Richard, and I believe that I have all four of them as well. I'd have to look to be sure. I love the 50's die-casts as I really like the fins, the chrome, and the two and triple tone paint jobs.
  18. Then you won't remember when they were a $1.39 & $1.49 either, back in the early 60's. What a great time it was to be a model builder back then. I really anticipated the release of the annuals back then, and today I really don't care when another new kit is released or an old favorite is re-issued.
  19. Very nice job on that build Geno, as I was expecting the Silver Bullet GTX that I've started, but "shelved" for awhile.
  20. Sorry to hear that Ray and I hope the second time works out. I know a lady who had foot surgery, and after many months the doctor said there was a screw "floating" in her foot. Guess someone forgot 'bout that one, huh?
  21. Very nice rod, but out of my "budget" and I'd rather have a late 60's muscle car.
  22. Interesting, and thanks Mark.
  23. The '68 Dodge Coronet R/T is available from Modelhaus and looks really good. I hope to start on mine one of these days soon.
  24. Tamiya Silver Leaf, then white primer, then color coats and clear coats. Works for me.
  25. I too like it here on this forum, and the quality and talent of some of the members here is awesome, while some not so. I myself build in my OWN "comfort level" and I'm happy with the results. I do have FUN, and I believe that is very important in a hobby.
