  1. While I'm not familiar with the "Roadkill" magazine, the new issue of Elapsed Times should be out before the end of the year.
  2. I would check with Altered States.
  3. Very nice, as I've said a few years ago that the wagon and an Ranchero would follow Revell's '57 Ford Custom. It'll be the only one of the bunch that I'll buy, and I'm still bettin' on a Ranchero in the future as well.
  4. The Drive-In on Harlem & Irving Park Road, and also on Skokie Boulevard as well. Did you hang out at Duke's at all?
  5. Tomorrow Tues. Nov. 4th is Election Day, so be sure to exercise your right to vote as it is a privilege that not everybody in the world has. Also it would be a good day to fly the flag as well.
  6. Yes it's kinda tough with the power out, but we've been lucky that it has never been out long enough to consider buying an emergency generator.
  7. Yeah cobraman, I too had spent a lot of Saturday nights at the drive-in in Chicagoland, and never saw a movie yet. Oh well, it was fun.
  8. Yes, I've also noticed that they're a little lax in keepin' their website up to date.
  9. Get the kids back into building plastic models? NO way. This isn't the 60's anymore and times are changin' a whole lot. Hobby shops are shutting down all over the country. 15 or 20 years from now some of us old guys that are still left will still be buildin' models if we can still see and arthritis doesn't effect us. Even the model companies are at risk right now, as tooling and production cost have gone up as well.
  10. Nice builds Nico and welcome to the forum, as it's a great place to be.
  11. Some people have NO class at all.
  12. I wouldn't get your hearts set on too many new model kits or re-issued kits as hobby shops around the country have been folding up for years now. So, while we are still getting kits I would be thankful as the light at the end of the tunnel is getting kinda dim.
  13. That's cool Steve as I have a 14 month old grandson, but no sleepovers yet.
  14. You got that right Lee, however I was at a car show last (?) year and the woman parked next to my car had a '64 Chevy pickup truck with 1000 h.p. and the "dyno sheet" to prove it.
  15. I picked up a LOT of leaves yesterday, and hope to cut the grass one more time, and apply fertilizer.
  16. I'm lucky enough to have them both in my "stash," and all I gotta do is build them.
  17. Lookin' good.
  18. I have a few bags left over, and I'll take them to the club meetings that I'll be attending next weekend. Last year I ran out of candy. Go figure?
  19. Maybe Moebius will do the Mark II kit in the future???
  20. I usually change my battery after 5 or 6 years whether it needs it or not. I don't want any "surprises."
  21. Far fetched as usual, but awesome and I'll be lookin' forward to seein' it as well as owning the DVD.
  22. Yep, snow on Halloween and on Sunday we set the clocks back as well. Guess I'll have to adjust my attitude like I did last winter as it did make things easier. Not great, but a bit easier.
