  1. Got my November 2013 issue of Model Cars Magazine (in good form).
  2. Detail Master used to do a set of resin Torque Thrusts. Don't know if they still do or what the diameter is.
  3. In the final assembly and clean up. This is the really slow part as one doesn’t want to mar the finish.
  4. Yep. The Super Glue from Gorilla Glue says it on the package and tube. They also sell a poyurethane waterproof glue that needs one side wet to set and does expand. That one is NOT good for modeling and it sounds like that is what you got. I use their super glue for assembly and it works well. The package I get has two small tubes. One tube is good for a model as it thickens over time.
  5. The LaFerrari needs to be in the stash. Will likely go right to the moving box with a lot of this stuff. The Lambo Veneno opened up, go to this link for a view plus instructions: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10243805
  6. This just came in: Still have a large order in Private Warehouse at HLJ. There is one part that is still coming and I don't want a separate shipping cost if I can avoid it.
  7. Per Revell at our club's Xmas party on the 7th, decals for the insets but not for the ribs. Gerry
  8. Got this transkit from C1 Models: Converts the Fujimi Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to a Novitec N-Largo
  9. Sorry can't help, but I think you might also be looking for the kit manufacturer? Is that a 1/72 scale (based on pen next to it)? If you have scale, Squadron hobby online catalog might lead you to possible kits.
  10. We had less than 1/2" in Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. But I was born in Palmer, MA, so can understand.
  11. Yes. They were handing out free copies at the show by the car display.
  12. Got mine last week. It is superb!
  13. The hi-res images on stored on my computer. If you want any copies I can email them.
  14. Link to 400 Pix album: http://s150.photobucket.com/user/exotics_builder/library/2013-11%20MCACN
  15. Unfortunately, the Cruisin' USA kit did not have a lot of the stuff that came in the other Riviera kits. So, if you were looking to build a stock Riviera, the Cruisin' USA version IS NOT the one to go for. I have 3 Riviera kits in the basement, one the Cruisn' USA, which is by far the least content. My instruction sheet shows the parts trees. If scanning that would help assess better whats missing, I can scan it.
  16. The Crusin USA version did not have any stock parts, mainly a custom option. For sure, the wire wheels are missing in your photo. I have the kit downstairs and checked. Here are instruction pages from Drastic Plastic for you to compare.
  17. My order shows its being processed, including the PE and Carbon sets. So I should be getting the payment notice shortly. I also have some of the Acu-Stion PE pieces on order.
  18. Ther Performance Modleing Club is in your area. That is the website you were referenced.
  19. I have about 40 Ferrari kits stretching from the 166 Barchetta (Model factory Hiro) up to the F12 Berlinetta with two LaFerraris on order. Almost all are 1/24 scale. A few are 1/20 racing and two 1/12 F1 cars.
  20. I meant to say hood, not roof. But you got the idea. See you at the meeting.
  21. That's just one shelf. There's more. The 1/16 Fujimis are gone, I sold them a while back.
  22. WIsh I could help more. The Italeri 250 as well as their 250 California, 275 GTB4 and 275 GTB Nart have been long out of circulation. Even though I built a 250 California, I did find another at a swap meet just before moving to the Chicago area.
  23. They're scarce as Hens Teeth unfortunately. Model Factory Hiro does one as well, but its a multi-media $280 plus kit and MFH has decided to not renew their Ferrari license. The Italeri shows up on EBAY every once in a while, but the last time I checked they were going in the $100 territory. I had the ESCI 250 from years back and simply "appropriated" chassis and other parts to go into a resin 250 GT Lusso that'll be on the bench after we move back to Washington state next year. Gerry
  24. Nick I have a separate resin teardrop bubble that can be fitted to any roof. Are you interested? If yes, I'll bring to the next CARS meeting if you'll be there.
  25. I have the Italeri 250 GT and it is quite good. ON a par with their 250 GTO. The ESCI kit is (at best) So-So. Also, not many 250 Berlinetta GT's had 6 2-bbl downdraft webers but three Weber 40 DCL 6 carburetors.
