  1. Count me in for sure. No idea as to what I will build, but im like you Mark many kits to choose from. I wont be able to start or post anything anytime soon.As I have quite a few other builds that are planned to be built and a few in progress so I need to get them done before I will be able to start and contribute. So with that being said, look forward too see who joins in and what gets built. I will participate at a later date.
  2. Not sure about the beer mug. But reading is your friend post #104 will answer your question about the phone.
  3. I use both, spray cans for applying primer, paint to bodies and other large parts. Although I havent been using an airbrush for very long ive found it is good for paints that arent available in cans, custom mixed colours,Alclad etc and is also good for applying paint to small parts and doing extensive paint jobs like Chris Thobe's. 60 secs ? Too me that seems like a bit of an exaggeration. Even doing a quick back flush takes a few minutes. As I mentioned above, I havent been using an airbrush very long. But I personally Iike break to down the entire airbrush and give it a full clean after each painting session, which for me usually requires about 5 mins.
  4. Look forward to seeing the new projects.
  5. Super clean build and as already mentioned top notch photography
  6. As always your detail work is very impressive and yet again you have done an excellent job replicating a 1:1 subject. Cant wait to see the paint job.
  7. Wow !! Another excellent pattern paint job Chris.
  8. Progressing well Ira, look forward to the next update.
  9. Very nice, like all the mods that you done. An inspirational build for sure.
  10. Incredible build as always, great job replicating all the details and features that the 1:1 has. Look forward to watching the next build.
  11. Yep,im going to be raiding a few kits for parts.
  12. Looks excellent so far, like the pattern design. And going by some of your previous pattern paint jobs, im sure this will be another work of art when complete.
  13. Add me to the roster. These are the 2 kits ive chose, dont think I need to mention why these are bad kits as im sure everyone knows what they are like. First up is AMT's 53 Ford flip nose. After seeing what John Teresi done with this kit,It gave me some serious inspiration to have a go at trying to polish this turd of a kit Have had a plan for this particular kit ever since I bought it.Just never built up the courage to build it due to the quality and contents. Im hoping I can transform this poor quality kit to look somewhat similar to Tim Allens custom F100. My Inspiration pics. And Second in line for a transformation. Revell's 56 ford pick up. Havent made up my mind as to what direction/style this kit will go.Most probly be another full on custom but with a less radical engine than the above plan's for the AMT kit build
  14. Another current wip.
  15. Have picked out a couple kit's.Will post pics and details in the official thread/topic. 12 months is way too long for me to work on 1 build (generally I can complete a build within 1 to 2 months). So if its ok Rob, id like to build 2
  16. Count me in.
  17. Maybe check ebay.com.au, we use 240V. Although converting to our $ might be factor though.
  18. This is my current wip.Hoping to finish it before the year ends.
  19. Very interesting, liking the direction you are going with this build Ira.
  20. I do feel for the people who lost a loved one at this tragic situation. I agree with Andrew, these things happen in all countrys. Just so happens that yesterday,in my town there was a drive by shooting
  21. Thanks for the comments and interest fella's. Its been put on the back burner for awhile, got burnt out doing the prep work. But il get back to it soon.
  22. Wheel sets. 15' chrome reversed 15' cross bar 15' sovereigns http://stores.scaledreams.com/-strse-Pegasus-Hobbies/Categories.bok
  23. My bad, how could I have missed this. Another cleanly built and well detailed Impala from you mate. Look forward to your next Impala build
  24. Personally I dont like the look of the current model Holden ute either. Sorry to stray away from the op mentioning the El-Camino ute But while we are on the topic of utes I much prefer the styling of Ford Australia's 2012 FPV GS ute.
