Hopefully the decals are better this time around. Besides, their Sizzler offering was incomplete ; that centre blackout is a PITA to accomplish with paint ! Certainly a 1970 would be sweet ! The '71 is close, but there are more ,and less obvious differences between a '70 and a '71 : different upholstery pattern / door cards ; different stripes for the 340 model ; different trunk lid (smooth vs. the 'recall' lid -- oddly, the c.1998 ad seq. AMT '71 Duster kits have the 1970 trunk lid) ; AVS carburetor; different right-side exhaust manifold; NO chrome/bright exhaust tips. As far as a '73 is concerned ; @Can-Con exhibited his (sweet) build of the original MPC annual. I'd be keen on a new '73-'76 Duster, but, as the saying goes : "Wish in one hand, and..."

I keep missing it... I've got a grip of the 1971 & 1972 Demon grilles, and the 1970 & 1971 Duster grilles, but I can't seem to catch the '73-'74 Dart grilles. -

Now... how's about a resin conversion for this iteration ? Y'know , 1973-1974 grille , and a filler panel for the rear (only '75-'76 received that tail lamp panel embellishment). -

It started life as the 1971 Duster 340 annual ; the following annual updates were borne out of that original release : 1.) 1971 Demon 340 , a mid-1971 release ; 2.) 1972 Duster 340 ; 3. ) 1973 Duster 340 ; 4. ) 1974 Duster 360 ; 5. ) 1975 Duster 360 ; 6.) 1975 Dart Sport 360 (mid-year tooling change ) ; 7.) 1976 Dart Sport 360 . These are only the stock/annual versions I've listed. Offshoots I can recall : 1.) Smokey Chaser (1977) ; 2.) c.1983 "Dodge Duster" ; 3.) c.2003 "1975 Duster Hardtop" ; 4.) c.2013 reissue of the 1975 Dart Sport annual, box art and all ; decals upgraded ; 5.) c.2019 reissue of the 1976 Dart Sport annual ; moulded in gold metallic ; box art almost 100% resembles the original's ; decals upgraded. The latter two issues also upgraded the figure to being able to build both the standing figure as well as the sitting figure. -
I bought a few resin 1972 grilles from an eBay seller (who also offers 1971 grilles) . The upholstery pattern is shared between the Duster and Demon, at least insofar as the bucket seats are concerned.

1972 Duster 340 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It appears that they even got the 1972 upholstery pattern ; that's shared with the '72 Demon ! Even the 1972-only air cleaner is included !! Well, now I can build a correct '72 Demon without tracking down the interior from an MPC '72 annual ! Other stuff looks sweet, too - the '72 Chevelle SS-454 and the '76 Nova especially.

Country & Western , when 'embellished' with the Moog synthesiser and / or other 'unconventional' instruments, can sound even better (unless you're Ralph Emery and dismiss "longhairs" as "usurpers" of traditional music - and end up with a song written about you call Drug Store Truck Drivin' Man)

Lost my little buddy this morning

100% true. Our feline superiors sense our malaise / illnesses , and they act accordingly. Oliver Sabastian (2004-2020) slept with me when I had my appendix removed (January 2020), leaving only to eat , drink, and fulfill the Almond Rocher factory orders. Tao , who's definitely not a lap cat by any means , cuddled with me when I had the flu three times in 2022 ! He otherwise sleeps by the foot of my bed , but he knew I was ill and cold, so he snuggled up right next to me. -

I feel your pain, @Hard_2_Handle_454. All that I can say is, Thank you for being a guardian to Dippy for all of these years. Although physically no longer in this realm, Dippy will always be with you. -

AMEN to that ! I still recall how Oliver hugged Molly when I had to take her to be put to sleep (great... now I'm crying). Animals are much more attuned to life and energies than we bipeds realise - animals' minds are clear, unburdened by the trivialities of this world. -

This seller on eBay : Items for sale by bestmodelcarparts | eBay I've purchased quite a few 'decals' from Best , all top notch. Custom orders accepted ; he printed some instrument clusters from the 1970-1974 Duster (et alia) , and 1975-1976 Duster (et alia) - yes, there are subtle differences . Same with licence plates - I have plates for the Challengers in the original (and, IMO, only) Gone in 60 Seconds ; the plates on the Valiant in Duel , and ; plates from vehicles I've owned over the years. You won't be disappointed.

While I can't speak to the workings of this swap/bash, I do know that - for whatever reason - the Revell 1968-1969 Chargers are unique from their 1970 offerings.

Only 12 days later (30-9-2024) , they're here ! Thanks much , @echoxrayniner ! These decals are incredible ! Thanks again for not only fulfilling my original order, but for the included - and as promised - largesse ( Sizzler hood decals (not just the stripes as in the kit's decals), extra underhood decals, and the correct-for-1972 decals ) ! Thanks again !
