  1. I finished up the 65 Plymouth white car, and the only thing I screwed up on, was forgetting to install the side windows. At least you can see the interior better, so no big deal. Moving on to the Landy Dodge now. One problem I encountered while mocking things up, was the parachute does not fit right on the Dodge as it does on the Plymouth. Since Landys Dodge has a split bumper and a different chute altogether, no big deal here. A couple pics of the Plymouth.
  2. Another fine automobile build Steve. I’ve been looking at all that under hood, and chassis detail, and it just blows me away to see the time and work you put into this project. Amazing.
  3. I enjoy watching some particular YouTube videos, especially when there isn’t anything else on the TV. ( I hardly ever watch them on my phone.) I enjoy Frank’s Modeling, and hearing his Long Island accent, also The International Modeler is another one I enjoy. These guys are pretty advanced builders in my opinion. Recently I was checking out The Muscle car Modeler, because I came across his AWB builds, that I happened to be doing myself. I just wanted to see how he decided to build his, and he also gave some history on the AWB cars from back in the day. Same with Luka Cee. I really enjoyed his next gen NASCAR from Salvinos he was doing, because I was building one also. And I did get a few pointers from that video, because I really don’t do any NASCAR stuff, and this model is outside what I normally build. There are a lot of good channels out there, and I guess it all depends what you are looking for. But then again, there are some hackers out there too. I’ve seen some videos that show how to build a horrible looking model. For the most part, I pretty much just watch them for entertainment instead of getting info on how to build a car.
  4. I was almost positive you have done this build before, and now I see this thread was from a while ago. See, Niko, your 409 Nicholson build is etched in my mind forever. All kidding aside though, can’t wait to see more.
  5. I have three projects I really want to get done. Then I’ll probably be doing the same real soon.
  6. I have a bilge fan, and the power pack to run it, but I gotta get motivated to build a paint booth. I’m all finished with everything at the new house now, totally moved in, set up, and everything is 100% finished. Model room is all done too, except for the booth. Probably just a bit lazy from all the other work I did. I’m gonna definitely get one up and running after the new year.
  7. Also, if I suddenly get bored with one of my dozen or so projects, I will move onto another project I normally do not build. I’ve been building a next gen nascar kit for my brother in law, and it is definitely a slump buster. I plans on doing more, actually. Ive only built one nascar car in the last 15 years or so.
  8. I’ve been getting the body painted, foiled, and finished first lately. Then going back to start the rest of the build last, for this very reason you mentioned.
  9. Everyday there is always something new that they want us all to be concerned about.
  10. Very nice job on the Dodge. It looks as if it came that way. Nice job on the foiling also.
  11. Almost double in size. I thought they would be the same size as the snowplow trucks box, but you’d never get all the parts back in. Stuff fits in pretty nice. I always open kits nowadays to check and see if everything is in good shape.
  12. Thanks Mark. I appreciate your help.

  14. Can anyone tell me what kit these tires were offered in?
  15. The site says they should have a few left over. Couldn’t get the wrecker to appear on their sites search. After doing a google search, MRU came up.
  16. Just looked on Modelroundups site, and it appears they are all gone already.
  17. Can you believe this? I should list mine. I don’t get it.
  18. Yea, I’ve seen a few of the Plymouth AWB kits on there going for $40 plus dollars, plus shipping, when you can just go on Modelroundup and buy it for $34.
  19. He hasn’t replied, but visited the site recently, so I’m assuming the trade is no longer available.
  20. Very cool build! I just love those old super and pro stockers. Nice job Scott.
  21. As soon as it comes I have to open it up and check to see if the body isn’t warped. Just out of habit.
  22. Tracking says mine will arrive tomorrow.
  23. Thanks Bill. I’ve searched for pics and got some ideas. If you go by the Moebius instructions, you’ll have it looking terrible. Since I broke off the pin that goes into the crank pulley, I cut a piece of 1/8 inch styrene rod, and glued it to the bottom of the belt where the pump is. Painted it, and used epoxy to fasten it to the crank pulley. Then I had to add a brace between the bracket and head, using .040 rod, as it needed to be more secure. I’m happy with the way it turned out.
  24. I sure miss Roger’s builds.
