  1. Here's what I know about Replica's & Miniatures wheels... I worked with Norm last year to retool the photoetch portion for all three sizes. We did test shots and they came out pretty nice. He's so backed up with existing orders that this has fell off his plate. Last we spoke he was trying to get back to them early this year. Give him a call, leave a message saying you want them is the best thing to do if you want to see them back in the catalog.
  2. Sorry to be late, but here's another way for future builders. First, the MCG headlight screens are made to fit the 1/24th scale Monogram kit. I found that out while trying to make them fit the AMT kit, they are just too big for it IMO. If you are trying to apply them to the Monogram kit, try to use the method MCG recommends for forming the compound bend in their Track Nose kit. It works like a charm. You form a tool out of brass rod and put it in a pin vise. Then work the tool over the PE part on a piece of dense rubber (like a mouse pad). Here are the illustrations associated with it. Contact MCG and Bob would probably send you the complete instructions. Works like a charm when I did the track grille and the smaller version headlight screens I custom made for my 1/25 scale Vette.
  3. Nice work as always!
  4. Nice rig! Love the boat.
  5. Incredibly designed and executed model. Hats off to you sir!
  6. Thanks Brizio. Looking for T-Top glass for another project.
  7. LOL ... always have enjoyed your thorough reviews. Hard to believe that model is more than 20 years old today. I plan to start artwork for an MCG detail set for that Charger as soon as I get my hands on one...
  8. Cool video! Could you measure the T-Tops in this kit? Width & Length. TIA Tim
  9. Best stuff out there. Order with no worries.
  10. incredible!
  11. I know MCG's detail set will include grilles for 83-86 as well as a TON of interior pieces...
  12. Sorry to hear this. Is was to be a great model. I think I'd let anything short of a pit viper bite me if it meant dropping that model. Best of luck on your next build.
  13. I'm really looking forward to this kit. You can bet MCG will have a set for this. Not sure about including the lower mouldings and landau top trim though. Those would make the package fairly large and those would probably be better made with evergreen. Should have a few choices for the grille and plenty of choices for the scripts and emblems.
  14. Glad to see this here on the first page. Certainly one of the models that inspired me back then. Would love to see more of it.
  15. outstanding rust effects!
