  1. Yep, very nice car but, I would defintely downsize the Z/TA stickers and go to a set of snowflakes like on the Year One "Bandit" car. Both very easy changes to make.
  2. My eyes must be acting up. That full body assembly looks pretty good for just a throw together!
  3. I had forgotten about this thread. Two slammed duallie fendered 65s at once one here. Can it get much better than that? BTW, lovin the blue on it.
  4. That's right! And a true gear head will walk up to anybody with something they don't get to see everyday when it pulls in at a gas station or anything. With that said, nice collection of photos there, Clemens. Good to see someone who appreciates classic American cars. It's not just part of American history, it's also a reflection of how things just used to be period.
  5. October 16, 2013 the FCC passed a motion that now requires autodiallers to remove ALL cell phones from their lists. This includes any cell phone numbers that have or have not been previously given out for solicitation. Now autodiallers are prohibitted by law from calling cell phones for the purpose of solicitation. On a lighter note, I just downloaded adblock...and enabled the social media link blocks as well.
  6. Very Nice! I always like these down in the weeds like this.
  7. Looks great. Can't wait to see more progress on this one. Seems like its been a while.
  8. That's a nice snap kit. You did a great job. And certainly easier than wrestling the Viper kits I've tried. I know they can't be the shoddy stickers in the new Revell snap kits so, are those decal stripes or masked and painted.
  9. Yeah, I agree with affordability being an issue. But like most technology, the price will eventually come down. It may take quite a while but, it will. And let's be honest here, everyone doesn't exactly have the required knowledge to use the technology either. But there are, however, strategic people and companies that are interested in the industry who can make things happen. It just honestly amazes me when I see organizations like NASA embracing the technology and the benefits it can provide. The acceptance and interest in the technology is what makes me think that someone will soon be able to resolve the issues with the quality. Wil they soon or ever "replace" injection molded kits? Probably not. But once it becomes more "commonplace" I do see people designing prototypes, "printing" them off, smoothing them out, and using them for resin casting semi frequently.
  10. I'm sure that's something that will be worked out very soon as quickly as this technology advances. Seems like in the past few months, the applications have been growing in leaps and bounds. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if 3d printing issues were all resolved within the next six months to year.
  11. This is the evolutionary step that will forever get rid of mold lines. No more sanding and filling. That's a step forward in itself right there.
  12. I didn't even see half the pictures before because I was logged into my other job. This thing is even cooler than I thought. The 3 link is sweet, I love the faux dually wheel setup in the back, and the 409 is just perfect for this! One thing I would suggest on this...since you are putting so much detail under the bed. Please consider adding some kind of air tank and a train horn or at least a big truck horn under the bed. This thing is screaming for a "get out of my way" warning. It's your build but, I just think it would be soo cool.
  13. Thanks Justin! Unfortunately, life is getting in the way of building a bit right now. Should be back on it soon.
  14. It looks completely differen with these pictures of it in clear. Great look and work though
  15. Cool start. A little different with the duallie wheels. BTW, just so you know, if your post disappears, check for it in the "On the Workbench: Pickups, Vans, SUV's, Light Commercial" section. Either location, I'll be watching this. Welcome to the forum.
  16. Give McCoy Motorsports, in Pikeville, KY a call. There is a shop that they use that is very good but, I don't recall their name. I do know that they built the heads on the GMC Syclone owned by Jerry McCoy that used to hold the title of "world's fastest 4.3 Syclone." They also do small block Chevy's and other things.
  17. Looks like it's moving toward that Aston Martin (SP?) corporate front end treatment like most of their other cars out right now.
  18. True...so true. But talk about a network executive's nightmare. Oh, and incidentally, I checked my 87 S10 Blazer frame. I do believe we have a match.
  19. Don't forget. Make it a four door and you got a WeGo. (I know it's cheesy but, I couldn't resist.)
  20. I'm not 100% confident but, there are a few elements of this picture that make this one look like a hearse.
  21. Very nice Ghia!
  22. Michael, I think you put just the right amount of story in with your builds. I don't know about everyone else but, I enjoy watching your stories unfold along with the WIPs. They compliment each other nicely.
  23. Oh yeah! It definitely looks good with those colors hittin' three wheel motion!
  24. Swap to stock front and rear clips, a little interior, some hydros, and some Daytons with 5.20s and that Rambler would be one unique lowrider. I didn't say sweet or cruddy, just unique.
