    1966 Mustang

    Great looking Mustang Carl
  2. Nice one Jonathan
  3. Yup, many thanks as always for sharing
  4. Very nice Pat
  5. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Delahayes, Delages too (even the Boyd version)
  6. Excellent work Ben, I just love it.
  7. I think this may be referring to the licence plate decals, this is the method I use on all my kits. Sometimes instrument gauge decals may be applied this way to the back of the dashboard. I apply all other decals the regular way by first soaking in water.
  8. Wonderful build Carl, super smooth paint.
  9. That's a great start Steve, looking forward to seeing more.
  10. That dash is very impressive Paul, looks very realistic (as does the rest of your work!). Got my second McLaren started, painted it during the week and most of the aftermarket decals applied today.
  11. Nice work guys, that paint job looks great, Jim. Would like to make a second entry too, might have to check my stash. Just finished this, the support vehicle for my Mustang, made from the donor Saleen kit (just imagine it has an engine under the hood )
  12. This is a curbside build from the Revell kit (the engine was transplanted into my 1965 Mustang Cannonball CBP entry). Otherwise built OOB using Tamiya Mica Red metallic from the spraycan and some semi gloss clear to tone down the wheels a tad. Not sure if a white roof is accurate, but I like it
  13. Looking good Mike, I too have one of these in my 'to build pile'. I agree with your colour choice, but you might want to check the instructions - I think part of the inner roof liner has to be painted body colour too IIRC.
  14. Great 'Stang. Love it
  15. Wonderful
  16. Looks great
  17. That's lovely Darryl, great job
  18. Nice one Jonathan
  19. Just completed this as part of the racecar CBP. It's the Fujimi kit, and a jolly good kit it is too. I used the new Tamiya metallic orange (which I had to hand) rather than the regular McLaren colour, hey it's my kit . Otherwise out of the box apart from some aftermarket seatbelts. I liked It so much I've got another on the way with some decals from Spotmodel to do the white Eurodatacar version.
  20. Thanks guys, got this finished now - it's such a good kit, I've already got another on the way to do the white Eurodatacar driven by Tappy/Demoustier. Had a minor snafu with the paint when attaching the body but it will be displayed in my cabinet so only the good side shows . The kit's revenge for me using the wrong shade of orange??
  21. Two great builds Nick
  22. I like it - lots of thumbs up
  23. Both Porsches look great guys - excellent work. Progress on my McLaren, almost ready to mate the body/chassis. Added some aftermarket seatbelts and apart from a cockup with the decals, all going well - it's a great kit. Spare decals on the way in the form of a second kit, have bought some aftermarket decals for a second version.
